The Trump Administration / Trump says no one disobeys his orders
« on: Yesterday at 11:54:20 AM »
Trump said yesterday no one disobeys his orders.   But according to the Mueller report, several key people disobeyed his orders to Obstruct Justice.

Any one here believe Trump over the Mueller report?

The President’s efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests. Comey did not end the investigation of Flynn, which ultimately resulted in Flynn’s prosecution and conviction for lying to the FBI. McGahn did not tell the Acting Attorney General that the Special Counsel must be removed, but was instead prepared to resign over the President’s order. Lewandowski and Dearborn did not deliver the President’s message to Sessions that he should confine the Russia investigation to future election meddling only. And McGahn refused to recede from his recollections about events surrounding the President’s direction to have the Special Counsel removed, despite the President’s multiple demands that he do so.

Michelle Bachmann actually said this:

“In my lifetime I have never seen a more biblical president than I have seen in Donald Trump." She wasn't finished though. “He is highly biblical and I would say to your listeners [that] we will, in all likelihood, never see a more godly, biblical president again in our lifetime. So we need to be not only praying for him, we need to support him, in my opinion, in every possible way that we can.”

The 45th president — no student of history — marveled at the first president’s failure to name his historic compound after himself.

President Donald Trump had some advice for George Washington.

During a guided tour of Mount Vernon last April with French president Emmanuel Macron, Trump learned that Washington was one of the major real-estate speculators of his era. So, he couldn’t understand why America’s first president didn’t name his historic Virginia compound or any of the other property he acquired after himself.

“If he was smart, he would’ve put his name on it,” Trump said, according to three sources briefed on the exchange. “You’ve got to put your name on stuff or no one remembers you.”

Trump asked whether Washington was "really rich," according to a second person familiar with the visit. In fact, Washington was either the wealthiest or among the wealthiest Americans of his time, thanks largely to his mini real estate empire.

“That is what Trump was really the most excited about,” this person said.

If Trump was impressed with Washington’s real estate instincts, he was less taken by Mount Vernon itself, which the first president personally expanded from a modest one-and-a-half story home into an 11,000 square foot mansion. The rooms, Trump said, were too small, the staircases too narrow, and he even spotted some unevenness in the floorboards, according to four sources briefed on his comments. He could have built the place better, he said, and for less money.

Tulsi Gabbard - wtf is wrong with this woman?   She tows the Kremlin line better than Trump.   Go to hell.

Bernie Sanders - Bernie supporters are as cult-like as Trump supporters.    What happened to these people?

Every other candidate is looking good to me.

Trump tweets incorrect approval rating from Fox Business segment

President Trump tweeted a screenshot of his approval rating Thursday morning from a segment on Fox Business' "Lou Dobbs Tonight" that incorrectly presented polling numbers from Georgetown's Institute of Politics & Public Service, New York Magazine reports.

Details: Georgetown found that 43% of voters approve of Trump and that 58% approve of the economy. Fox Business displayed the correct economy figure but incorrectly stated that Trump's approval rating is 55%. The executive director of Georgetown’s Institute of Politics and Public Service clarified that the 55% figure is actually Trump's disapproval rating.

Retiring as a Judge, Trump’s Sister Ends Court Inquiry Into Her Role in Tax Dodges

President Trump’s older sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, has retired as a federal appellate judge, ending an investigation into whether she violated judicial conduct rules by participating in fraudulent tax schemes with her siblings.

The court inquiry stemmed from complaints filed last October, after an investigation by The New York Times found that the Trumps had engaged in dubious tax schemes during the 1990s, including instances of outright fraud, that greatly increased the inherited wealth of Mr. Trump and his siblings. Judge Barry not only benefited financially from most of those tax schemes, The Times found; she was also in a position to influence the actions taken by her family.

Judge Barry, now 82, has not heard cases in more than two years but was still listed as an inactive senior judge, one step short of full retirement. In a letter dated Feb. 1, a court official notified the four individuals who had filed the complaints that the investigation was “receiving the full attention” of a judicial conduct council. Ten days later, Judge Barry filed her retirement papers.

The status change rendered the investigation moot, since retired judges are not subject to the conduct rules. The people who filed the complaints were notified last week that the matter had been dropped without a finding on the merits of the allegations. The decision has not yet been made public, but copies were provided to The Times by two of the complainants. Both are involved in the legal profession.

Nunes Vows To ‘Come After’ All Who Lied, Defamed Him: ‘I’m Coming To Clean Up’

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) spoke to a friendly audience on Monday evening just after filing suit against a Republican operative and McClatchy Company, which publishes a newspaper in his home state. Nunes vowed to “come after” all who have “lied” and “defamed” him over the years.

“So part of the lawsuit is, not only that they need to retract everything they did against me, but they also need to come clean with the American people, retract all of their fake news stories,” he said, speaking about the $150 million suit he filed in Virginia on Monday.

“So this is part of the broader cleanup,” he continued. “So remember, a few weeks ago I filed against Twitter, they’re censoring conservatives. McClatchy is one of the biggest, the worst offender of this, but we’re coming after the rest of them. I think people are just beginning to wake up now that I’m serious and I’m coming to clean up all of the mess. So if you’re out there and you lied and you defamed, we are going to come after you.”

Putting idiot partisans in positions which require expertise is a risk to us all.
