In The News / Re: If True, I hope Boeing Goes Bankrupt...
« on: Yesterday at 04:59:22 PM »
We can't lose our airline industry, it's one of the few areas we still compete in globally.

I think there's likely criminality somewhere in this issue, on the part of Boeing or the federal government which regulates it.    They should be charged if so.   But Boeing must survive and prosper!

General Discussion / Re: Another MAGA Hat Incident

You can't help but laugh at the woman's statement at the end of the video -- she claims that she is the victim -- not the guy she harassed.

But, like the bartender and another patron said -- the man did nothing to egg her on. She started it -- the cops finished it.

I don't wear my Yankees hat around Boston for a reason..

I don't think we'll ever build a physical wall along the entire border -- bits and pieces here and there perhaps. In the most high-risk areas.

yeah, bits and pieces here and there

I can't really figure out why the democrats oppose that idea, except, of course, that Trump is pushing it.

Democrats don't oppose that idea, because that's not the idea being proposed by Trump.

Feedback and Updates on NewsRake / Re: Hey Peps! About PM's.
« on: January 29, 2019, 12:30:12 PM »
So, the system is set up to send a copy of every PM to the recipient's email address. Those emails all come from your Yahoo email account, so a copy is obviously in your Sent Folder.

My question -- do you read every PM?

I was not aware of my email showing up.. I need to fix .   I don't get copy of PMs in my email and I don't read anyone's messages except those addressed to me.

The idea that this guy, who blew through his father's $400 million, is a good businessman is just another lie told by pathological liars/cult followers.

and of course he lied about that too.. He's a good showman, and a good bullshitter.   That I give him credit for.

The Media / Re: The Pathetic Impeachment Fantasy
« on: January 02, 2019, 11:21:47 AM »
there's the fact that Trump is an un-indicted co-conspirator.. that specific crime was campaign finance related to the payoff of a porn star and playboy model so as to keep their stories buried during the election.

he's been using his office to benefit his and his families business.. that's a violation of the constitution.

his campaign coordinated with the Russian government during the election of 2016.

There's 3 solid reasons for impeachment off the top of my head..

Trumps last desperate move to install an Attorney General who will stymie the investigations into him is going to fail.  It will fail because our system is designed to prevent it and no one is above the law, including Donald Trump, Jr, Ivanka and Jarrod

Yesterday Sarah Sanders the president's press mouthpiece said 'this has nothing to do with Trump'.  My question is so who the fuck appointed the traitor as his National Security Advisor?

« on: December 19, 2018, 12:40:32 PM »
Controversies and investigations are commonplace during any Administration. Here's some of Obama's:

Please list Obama administration officials charged with crimes during Obama's tenure.    Here, I'll help you out:

now Trump:

George Papadopoulos: guilty
Paul Manafort: guilty
Rick Gates: guilty
Michael Flynn: guilty
Michael Cohen: guilty

we are only 2 years into Trump and we had 8 years of Obama
