The front door is normally locked but other doors usually not.      Regardless I understand the need for legal immigration already.     That said, if we had zero illegal immigration vs what we do have, I'm sure it's a net gain that we have ~12 million illegal immigrants.    More people generally means more economic activity.   You may not like the brown color of immigrants skin, but they are working hard on the whole and doing jobs neither I nor my kids are going to do.    The threat and risk is being overblown because people want a scapegoat for their own failures.

I have no problem with people of color....any color. But....I do want immigrants to come to the US legally. I want law and order in this country. As far as your comment on economic activity....you've got it backwards. The economics is blown to hell when you consider the impact of illegals as well as legals sucking off the system as in free housing, free medical, free food, free education and etc. and etc. Don't bother to tell me I am wrong because I see it every single day.....students who get free lunches and breakfasts while wearing brand new tennis shoes and cell phones of the highest caliber and their parents do not work. Why should they....when they can go to the mail box and pick up a check. They cannot speak English so the chance of being hired for anything other than landscaping and house keeping is next to zero.

Also, don't bother to call me racist. You need to know I have a Hispanic that has been working for me going on 17 years. However....he came here legally. Get it? Legally.

As far as you and your kids not wanting to do the work that illegals do? Just be patient. You're about to find out. You and your kids will be glad to do those jobs when this country goes to hell. Things are  not going to stay the same forever. You may as well get prepared because change is coming.

6 miles down, 1,949 to go.. too bad Trump sucks at negotiation and that will never happen.
I'm curious...do you lock your door at night or even during the day when you're home? If you don't you're a fool...if you do...looks to me like you would understand the need for legal immigration.

Judicial Watch's Weekly Update: JW Exposes Another Sanctuary City

The Continuing Scandal at the Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Office

You have followed our extensive coverage of Veterans Affairs officials in Los Angeles who are blatantly ignoring the needs of veterans and appear to be running some kind of business out of their offices. Despite our lawsuits, the outrages continue, as our Corruption Chronicles blog reports.

The Los Angeles Veterans Affairs (VA) facility that illegally rents its sprawling grounds to institutions that don’t serve veterans just evicted several groups dedicated to veterans, including a nonprofit that for decades has comforted dying vets and another that helps those who are disabled. While the VA gave the volunteer organizations the boot without offering an explanation, it continues housing a parking lot for nearby upscale shops, a university baseball stadium, a dog park for the professional dog walkers of affluent residents, and athletic fields for a fancy prep school.
It marks the latest of several scandals involving the misuse of this VA property, where a top official pleaded guilty to multiple felonies last year for taking bribes from a parking lot operator that defrauded the agency out of millions.

This month at least five established nonprofits dedicated to providing veterans with therapeutic activities, counseling and other valuable survival skills have been evicted while private businesses that don’t benefit vets remain. The Jewish War Veterans is among the organizations that just got kicked out along with Twilight Brigade, the Disabled American Veterans, Vet-to-Vet and the Association for Parrot C.A.R.E., which provides therapeutic activities for vets at its parrot sanctuary. A local newspaper reported the latest travesty at the southern California VA this week, but Judicial Watch has for years investigated, sued and obtained government documents involving the VA’s illegal use of this parcel.

The 338-acre property in West Los Angeles, which includes the National Veterans Park and Veterans Home, was deeded to the federal government in 1888 for the specific purpose of caring for disabled veterans. Thousands of disabled veterans once lived on the grounds, which also had churches, theaters, a library and post office. In the 1960s and 1970s the VA quietly closed the facilities, according to the American Legion, and ousted mentally disabled veterans. In recent years, the property has been used for many causes unrelated to veterans. Among them is a stadium for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) baseball team, an athletic complex for a nearby private high school, laundry facilities for a local hotel, storage and maintenance of production sets for 20th Century Fox Television, the Brentwood Theatre, soccer practice and match fields for a private girls’ soccer club, a dog park, and a farmer’s market.

For nearly a decade a group called the Old Veterans Guard has filed complaints against rampant corruption at the Los Angeles campus, specifically for abusing and misappropriating VA property. The group assembled weekly and on Memorial Day to protest the VA’s failure to make full use of the facility to benefit veterans, particularly those who are homeless. The government retaliated by sending VA police to harass and intimidate them at weekly rallies. One of the group’s leaders, an elderly Army vet named Robert Rosebrock, got criminally charged for posting a pair of four-by-six-inch American Flags on the outside fence of the Los Angeles VA on Memorial Day in 2016. The fence is part of the “Great Lawn Gate” and marks the entrance to the Los Angeles National Veterans Park. Judicial Watch represented Rosebrock in the federal case, which was tried in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. The court eventually ruled that Rosebrock was not guilty of violating federal law for displaying the flags above the VA fence.

Judicial Watch sued the VA Police and other agency officials for violating Rosebrock’s and his fellow protestors’ Constitutional rights. Judicial Watch has also sued the VA twice for documents related to the non-veteran use of the Los Angeles facility and obtained records that show the VA paid private businesses hundreds of thousands of dollars to reimburse them for terminating unlawful lease agreements. A 2011 lawsuit accusing the VA of misusing the Los Angeles grounds and illegally leasing the land forced the agency to make changes. As part of a settlement, the VA announced that it would dedicate the West L.A. campus to “serving veterans in need” by, among other things, designing a plan to help end homelessness among the county’s veterans. The legal settlement also compelled the VA to terminate leases with private businesses that were never supposed to be there in the first place. The records obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the VA paid Twentieth Century Fox Television $435,000 and a construction company building an illegal amphitheater on the north side of the grounds $287,318. The television studio used 72,160 square feet of VA land for parking, storage and maintenance of production sets.

Just a few months ago a federal audit exposed rampant fraud and corruption involving the illicit land sharing agreements made by crooked VA officials in Los Angeles. Judicial Watch launched an investigation into the deals and has three Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests pending.

This is a classic case of a bureaucracy busily serving its own needs and perpetuating itself to the detriment of the people it was created to help.

San Diego Plans to Hire “Immigration Affairs Manager

The immigration crisis can be handled through enforcing the rule of law or kow-towing to open borders lobby with lawless sanctuary polices and related spending. San Diego chose the latter path. Consider the latest, again, from our Corruption Chronicles blog:

The Republican mayor of the nation’s eighth largest city is dedicating $70,000 to hire an “immigrant affairs manager” that will help facilitate a successful integration of refugees and immigrants. The goal is to implement the orders of a community-written blueprint that aims to welcome immigrants as they transition into the city. Known as the “Strategic Plan on Immigrant and Refugee Integration” the document was created with the input of open borders groups, residents and a “cross-sector steering committee” that direct city officials to skirt federal law.

It is unclear how much taxpayer money California’s second largest city, San Diego, will end up spending to accommodate immigrants. Mayor Kevin Faulconer announced the new $70,000 position this week at a press conference on the grounds of a local museum dedicated to celebrating America’s cultural diversity. “The preservation and presentation of the immigrant experience in the United States is our central commitment,” according to the museum’s website. At the press conference Faulconer, who previously served on the city council, said this: “Immigrants from around the globe help define our city. San Diego has long been a destination for people in search of opportunity, refugees looking to rebuild their lives, and new citizens who are proud to call America home. San Diego’s economy, workforce and future growth are connected to our ability to welcome new Americans into our community.”

Let’s take a look at the proposals in the integration blueprint that the city’s new immigrant affairs manager is supposed to help implement. They include creating economic opportunity for immigrants, tweaking education to accommodate them, granting them inclusive access to taxpayer-funded services, improving civic engagement, and safe communities. The city is supposed to facilitate the career advancement of immigrants through job placement, rights protection, and inclusive recruitment. This is to include promoting immigrant entrepreneurship, financial literacy among newcomers, and the reduction of barriers toward home ownership. Not sure how that’s going to happen since San Diego is one of the nation’s most expensive cities to live in with among the highest home prices.

The plan also calls on the city to enhance a multicultural curriculum in kindergarten through high school for “newcomer students” and remove barriers to existing education programs. That means developing a curriculum that includes ethnic studies, immigration history, cross-cultural competency, and anti-bias and tolerance education. The integration blueprint also demands free tuition at public colleges for immigrants. Inclusive access means the city must expand language access to ensure public services are “user-friendly and culturally-responsive.” To promote civic engagement among immigrants, San Diego officials must develop immigrant and refugee leaders and increase naturalizations and civic participation among new and aspiring Americans. To create a safe community for immigrants, law enforcement must be properly trained to serve “multilingual and multicultural communities,” the document states.

Under the plan, consular identifications, common among illegal immigrants from Mexico, will be accepted across city agencies. Other forms of “foreign citizenship documents” will also be accepted, according to the recommendations. Local police and all city officials will also shield illegal immigrants from federal authorities. This appears as advocating for policies that help protect and advance the rights of immigrants and refugees at the county, state and federal level. “Oppose policies that target or profile immigrants and endanger their status,” the strategic plan states, referring to deportation. The list of demands goes on and on and it appears elected officials in San Diego plan to meet them. “It’s important our communities here in San Diego know they don’t stand alone,” said City Council President Georgette Gomez. “Our policies and actions must reflect a city that is welcoming. I look forward to working with the Mayor and my colleagues to help implement the plan.”

Do we all get to choose which laws we will obey?

Until next week …

Because the owner of the tabloid is David Becker, longtime friend of Donald Trump.   Same guy who paid to squash negative stories about Trump's infidelity with a porn star and a playboy bunny.  Same guy which is cooperating with the SDNY investigation into those campaign finance law violations.

a big question to me is how did the National Enquirer get the photos of Bezos.

Being a friend of Donald Trump does not mean Trump is guilty of anything.

Always.

 I have never seen where you have called your side out for their indiscretions. According to you the left has never done any wrong. America could be going down the drain and you would have a cheer leading session for the Dems. Hillary and Obama had baggage galore but you upheld them every time. Admit it.

A friend of mine sent me this e-mail that she received from one of her friends. I wanted to share it with you folks....here it is!   GHQ
************************************************************************************

An open letter to President Trump and First Lady Melania;
Dear Mr. President, Sir, I confess, I was skeptical of you at first. I voted for you only because I could see what a disaster for America the alternative would be.
In the first 2 years of your presidency you have performed better than I could have hoped in my wildest dreams.
You are the first president in my lifetime who has kept the promises you made in your campaign.
Many presidents talked moving our embassy to Jerusalem. You did it . Many have talked tax cuts, you did it.
Many talked strengthening our military, you did it. And the list of the good things you have done for America goes on and on.
How you could achieve so much good for America, while battling a do-nothing Congress, and a left wing anti-American media is nothing short of amazing.
Sir, there is much left that needs done, so I humbly ask you to run again in 2020. Mr. President, there are many millions of meat eating, Bible believing, freedom loving Americans who appreciate what you are doing for us. Thank you!
Dear First Lady Melania, Wow, what a welcome change you have brought to the White House.
Your beauty and your intelligence; your elegance and quiet dignity; your faith in God and your love of America all set a high example for our daughters and grand daughters to aspire to.
I know it must be very hard to watch your husband constantly attacked by the viscious opinion shaping media, but we need him for another term.
And so, I humbly ask you to sacrifice another 4 years for the good of our nation.
And now for both of you. In South Dakota, the buffalo is a symbol of strength and perseverance.
We get some viscious storms here, with snow measured in feet, and winds of 50-60 mph.
Cattle will turn tail to the storm and drift with the wind until they pile up in corners, trampling each other.
In contrast, the buffalo faces into the storm, and holds fast until the storm passes.
I think there is a lesson here.
As soon as the storms come, the congress turns tail and drifts with whatever direction the political wind blows.
In contrast, President Trump faces into the storm and perseveres to overcome it.
My hat is off to you Sir. And, Melania, millions of Americans love and appreciate you.
God bless you both. We're praying for you!

The Trump Administration / Re: Democrats are inviting illegals to the SOTU
« on: February 06, 2019, 01:20:01 PM »
According to RWNJs.   In the real world hard working people are doing jobs Americans don't want to do, and our economy would suffer greatly without illegal immigration.    We need to beef up temporary worker programs.  As long as there are people wanted to make a better life for themselves this problem will never go away.
What makes you think the illegals will assimilate into our society by becoming productive members of society? By coming to America illegally they broke our laws to start with. In essence, America has set the stage of leniency and passivity which filters over into every aspect of America's society. We can thank the liberals for that. Just let "johnny" do whatever he wants....no repercussions. Only a fool sees that as a way to run a country.

When you wear a MAGA hat it means you are supporting a guy who started his political career as a birther, mocked a disabled person, criticized a federal judge for being Mexican decent, claims thousands of Muslims cheered 911 from New Jersey, claims millions of people voted illegally, sides with Vladimir Putin over US patriots working to protect us.     In other words what the hat standas for is deplorable and people wearing it should not be surprised to be treated.. deplorably.

It would appear to me that you hate President Trump more than you love this Country and the freedoms we all have. In this Country we can say what we think (for the time being that is). Your problem is the problem of all liberals....."free speech for me but not for thee". Get over this stupid crap you spew. You'll feel better if you focus on all the good things President Trump has done for this Country.

LAWYERS FOR NICK SANDMANN PREPARE TO SUE MEDIA, CELEBRITIES FOR LIBEL
Posted on February 5, 2019 by C S Brock

Lawyers representing Covington student Nick Sandmann have announced the preparation of letters to be sent to various celebrities…

Lawyers of Nick Sandman Sue Celebrities

Breitbart: Lawyers representing Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann have announced the preparation of letters to be sent to various celebrities, media outlets, and individual journalists who immediately and falsely slandered Sandmann and his classmates for “taunting” a Native American during a trip to Washington D.C.

Mitchell + Ness Throwb...

The student’s lawyers are preparing letters for possible libel and defamation lawsuits, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. The list of recipients of the warning letters includes actress Alyssa Milano and Senator Elizabeth Warren. Targeted journalists include Maggie Haberman, David Brooks, and media outlets will include TMZ, CNN, and the New York Times. The attorneys have also identified the dioceses of Covington, Lexington, Louisville, and Baltimore as potential recipients of the letter.

Sandmann family attorney, Todd McMurtry, said of the media outlets and personalities, “They know they crossed the line. Do they want 12 people in Kentucky to decide their fate? I don’t think so.”

McMurtry added that the letters are meant to put an end to the instant attacks from the media before the facts are in. “We want to change the conversation. We don’t want this to happen again,” McMurtry said. “We want to teach people a lesson.” “There was a rush by the media to believe what it wanted to believe versus what actually happened,” McMurtry added.

Indeed, it was widely reported that the Covington students “surrounded” the Native Americans and “taunted” them calling out “build the wall.” But longer videos later proved that the students never moved and that it was the Native American group led by Nathan Phillips that approached the students. Longer video clips also proved that no one yelled “build the wall.” Nearly every single initial report on the incident was flawed and presented the kids as the aggressors when in truth they were not.

“For the mob to just go tear apart a 16-year-old boy is inexcusable,” McMurtry told the media. “He’ll never be able to get away from this.”

Assisting McMurtry will be the high-powered law firm of L. Lin Wood of Atlanta. Wood has represented clients such as the falsely accused Atlanta Olympics bomber and the family of murdered beauty contestant JonBenet Ramsey.

General Discussion / Here's the truth......
« on: January 24, 2019, 07:10:38 AM »
The following was sent to me by a friend this morning. Thought you folks might be interested in reading it.  As a substitute teacher for my county I can seriously say there is so much truth in this article. The bottom line for me is how can we take care of the third world countries without becoming a third world country too? GHQ
************************************************

Not too long ago, nine hundred teachers were laid off from the Los Angeles Unified School District. They were $650,000 over their annual budget. The following comments by an English teacher help to explain one area that looms large over California's educational crisis. I hope each person receiving this mail will read it carefully, all the way to the end. It is sad what is happening to our great country, all because our politicians are afraid they will miss out on a vote. What a travesty!

This English teacher has phrased it the best I've seen yet and it should make everyone think, be you Republican, Democrat or Independent .

From a California school teacher..... As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of: I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title-1 school, meaning that its students average in the lower social-economic and income levels.

Most of the schools you are hearing about are South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc., where their students are protesting – these are also Title-1 schools. Title-1 schools are on the free-breakfast and free-lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking about a glass of milk and a roll ... But a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make the Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. (Our tax dollars at work!)

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids. (More of our tax dollars at work!)

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department, or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything. My budget was already substantial, but I ended up buying new computers for the Computer Learning Center, half of which, one month later, were carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America. (More and more of our tax dollars at work!)

I have had to intervene several times for young substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less than 3 months, who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them putas (whores) and throwing things, that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical care, free education, free food, free day care, etc., etc., etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled not only to be in this country, but also to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society, because they happen to like their gardener and/or housekeeper, and they like to pay less for tomatoes, I say: Spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the true costs.

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases, etc., etc., etc. For me, I'll pay more for my tomato’s .

Americans, we need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by age 15, and that refuses to assimilate, plus an American culture that has become so weak and worried about "political correctness," that we don't have the will to do anything about it.

If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, everyone should be made aware of what's happening to our country. It won't happen through the complicit media!

Cheap labor? Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about? Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.

Consumers don't want expensive produce. Government will tell you 'Americans don't want the jobs.' But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an income tax return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200, free.

Also....

1 He qualifies for Section-8 housing and subsidized rent;
2 He qualifies for food stamps;
3 He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care;
4 His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school;
6 He requires bilingual teachers and books;
7 He qualifies for relief from high energy bills;
8 If they are, or become aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI;
9 Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare (All of this at taxpayer's {our} expense);
10 He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowner’s insurance;
11 Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material;
12 He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits;
13 Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his;
14 The American taxpayers also pays for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

Cheap labor? Yeah right! Wake up people! These are the questions we should be addressing to the Presidential candidates for either party. And when they lie to us and don't do as they say, we should replace them at once! We should start with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

We must take action or we will all go down the drain because a few don't care. And if you think this is bad, just wait until a Democrat becomes President and Marxist redistribution of wealth becomes the norm in this former Constitutional Republic!

We are the ones that are Pendejo's (Stupid) for allowing this to happen at a cost of 135 BILLION a year of our tax paying money!

And we can't afford a damn WALL or Barrier???

Personally I would have moved out of his way, and, after looking around at the idiots around me told them to STFU and show some respect.

In reading many of your posts...it looks to me like you should show some respect yourself. Just because this kid didn't do or say what you wanted him to do or say is no reason to bash him. I can tell you from experience..... when faced with an out of control situation....you don't know what you'll do. Seconds and minutes seem like hours....like time is at a standstill. You act like those of us who have a different opinion than you are the enemy...we are not...we are Americans....we love this country and we just want law and order. We want the craziness to stop. We want for a rally, like the ones these kids were at, to be peaceful. We want  our differences to be decided at the ballot box and for those of you who lost, to act like we did, when your guy won.

Announcing: The Crossfield Memorandum (Everyone Please Read)

The Crossfield Memorandum
Tuesday January 22, 2019

Because internet political forums are largely anonymous, we can't tell the difference between American citizens who bash America or our President and the Communists, Islamists and other foreigners who want America to collapse, who also bash this nation and Donald J. Trump.

Therefore to stop the weakening of our country and our strong rightful leadership at a time of great potential peril, we should assume that anyone, (even those who profess to be citizens or atheists or other non Muslim believer) who bashes our nation and our leader online is no less an enemy than any of the recognized enemy ideologues trying to destroy our home.

Anyone who posts as an enemy should be treated as an enemy.

Please consider anyone who bashes Donald Trump and America as would-be enemies at war with America.

Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people.

But it can not stop the incessant online bashing which weakens our country with every successive blow.

Our President is powerful. But he can not stop the online bashing.

It is up to you and I to stop the online bashers by using online disdain and criticism of them as moral and religious people might have done to enemies in history when America was strong.

We needn't BE any more moral or religious necessarily.

We just need to do what religious and moral Americans would do if their President and country were under constant verbal attack.

Let's stop the online bashing of President Trump and America.

Leland Crossfield

(leecross)

Absolutely...I do agree. We are Americans...this is our country...Donald Trump is our President...we are a free people...we need to act like we appreciate the freedoms we have. At the end of every President's  4 year term we can use the ballot box to again choose our destiny. There is no need for all the bashing but instead do as the Bible says and pray for our leaders. Great post...lee cross.
