Gee I feel so sorry for him.

Oh, wait. No I don't. I actually don't feel sorry for him. In fact I think it's hilarious that he's been grifted and is finally realizing it.

It's increasingly the simpler things that make me realise how lucky I am.

England's national nonessential travel ban end next Tuesday which means we can spend time away from London and drive down to our place on the south coast for a week or so...something we just used to take for granted.

Even after our month of increased restrictions the infection rate is still above one so I don't see pubs and restaurants playing any part in our 'great escape.' Clearing leaves and trimming trees will be the order of the day, hopefully followed by log fires and lots of seafood...and perhaps the odd bottle of Chablis. Well, that's the plan.

Enjoy your celebrations, buddy. Be safe.

Enjoy! You be safe too.

I have a lot to be thankful this year and I hope you do too!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Then you don't like the idea of people wearing masks.

Then you do like the idea of people wearing masks.

You assume that Shit Hook comprehends the concept of taking a mask and putting it on one's face. You aren't getting a straight answer to a simple question. Occam's Razor, use the simplest answer. Shit Hook is too stupid to understand what you're talking about.

If he could bring himself to own up to simple errors within his extended lies then he might just about get away with telling his tall tales...although that would also necessitate him being clever enough in the first instance to confine his tall tale telling to things about which he actually has a clue.  :)

If the Queen had balls she'd be the King.

My right wing connections are very upset that Twitter and FB dont allow free speech and meet them at Parlor and weme.

to paraphrase if only Trump mis-information was able to be regurgitated wholesale as fact we could have won!

They're largely gone from Facebook so Facebook have become a way more pleasant environment. I hope they remain in their fever swamps and fester and decay into oblivion.

Stuart Stevens of The Lincoln Project is on a lot lately. I went to buy his book but it turned out that I bought it already.

I have been a little lazy with my reading lately. I am about half way through Reaganland. It's pretty good, but a little unsettling because I lived through the history of things like Jimmy Carter's Playboy interview and Phyllis Schlafley's sophistry. You can see how the GOP devolved.

I have had discussions with Joe Walsh, the former Congressman. He is so spot on about the current pathology but oblivious to how his party sank to this level. He says that Republican leaders ignored their base. I don't buy that. Yes they always lied to their base and held them in contempt but if anything they underestimated the pathology of a large segment of their base and the extent to which the rest would sell their soul for the vicarious thrill of power.

What he will do is to create drama and chaos. That's what he's always done. That's what he will do until he's dead.

On January 20 he will pardon himself and his whole crime family which will not shield himself from his massive debt that his shitty properties cannot service, civil lawsuits, or the New York Attorney General. He very well may in prison by the end of 2021 which would be good because it probably would shut him the fuck up.

His cult followers, as Steve Schmidt said last night we have to come down on them hard and seal them off with Chernobyl type sarcophagus.

Jesus, Hook it's almost as if you've lost faith in your Dear Leader's ability to unseat Ronna McDaniel.  8)

As for Guilfoyle, I hear she's offering lap dances in exchange for donations. Is there anything else she could do that would be more on-brand when it comes to all things Trump? Serious question.  :-*

I briefly toyed with the idea of taking Shit Hook off of ignore, allowing for the possibility that the reality of this catastrophic loss might sober him up enough to have some kind of functional exchange with him.

I don't know why I have these brief lapses. Of course he's never going to sober up. Never.

Election 2020 / Re: It's OVER

Trump is simply refusing to admit the defeat and bringing his supporters along for that ride is truly amazing sight to see.    I have a Trump supporting relative who just said there was MASSIVE voter fraud needs to be investigated.. first, before declaring any one the winner you know.

All that could be believable assuming it was Trump and a now whittled down base of nuts.. but no.. major republican leaders are joining this delirious moronic and pathetic effort.

Which is terrifying.

He's raising money, grifting while he still can.

hey notoc.
I actually stood up for you the other day.
My friend who watches newsrake, said that notoc loves shit sandwiches....
I then came to your defense and firmly stated, "I know for a fact notoc does not like shit sandwiches."
notoc told me he does not like bread.

"'Conservative' humor."

There aren't enough scare quotes to express how phony they are.

Has newsrake ever witnessed any of its mopes admit that any of their thousands of bullshit posts are actually bullshit? Not once have I seen it happen.

Me neither.

What's dumber than an Orange Hitler supporter?

Nothing.

Their cult leader is personally responsible for 30,000 cases of Covid 19 and 700 dead, and they do not waiver in their support for their death cult.

smh

Nobody loves homosexuals more than Trump voters...just look at all the pro-gay posts they've made and 'liked' here at newsrake over the years.  :)

Indeed the Republican Party is the party of minorities. For some reason the ingrates don't recognize how fabulous tax cuts for billionaires are for them. For some reason the ingrates don't recognize how wonderful it is when Republicans suppress their votes, or allow big corporations to exploit them or pollute their air and water.

That only helps to explain 50% of your posts, Hook. "Bald-faced lying is bliss," would go a long way to explaining the rest of them.  :-*

You have to leave room for immaturity. Shit Hook shows the emotional maturity of a 12 year old.
