Swalwell: Impeaching Trump Over Roger Stone Is Not ‘Off the Table’

PAM KEY
12 Feb 2020

Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) Wednesday on CNN revealed that the Justice Department’s reversal on Roger Stone’s sentence after President Donald Trump’s tweet could be an impeachable offense.

Host Jake Tapper asked, “Might you impeachment him over this, over Roger Stone and the sentencing?”

Swalwell said, “You know, we’re not going to take our options off the table. We don’t wake up in the morning wanting to impeach him.”

He added, “We want to work with him on prescription drugs, background checks, and infrastructure, but we’re not going to let him just torch this democracy because he thinks that he’s been let off once and we’re not going to do something about it.”

This photo was tweeted by the White House and later deleted. It's haunting. He is ill and no one who is supposed to care for him is getting him the help he needs. And he's angry, vindictive and lacks conscience. It makes him dangerous. Who will protect us?

Election 2020 / Re: “You’ll Never be President!”

Trump's up to 15,413 lies while President.

Do you have a problem reading? It says false or misleading claims. Your claim is 15413 lies. I guess you're trying to be misleading? In the case of Washington post, They're being very loose with term misleading, because they like you don't understand facts or reality, and they fail to quantify the false statements in contrast to misleading statements.

In other words, More bullshit.

Keep building those processes though. We'll have a chance to use them very soon. Just like the nuclear option the left created in the Senate. Keep playing stupid games, keep winning stupid prizes.  If a Democrat were to win 2020, which isn't going to happen, we're just going to impeach them as soon as we get that GOP House majority back. We'll see if you like the new processes created by House Democrats...  ;D ;D ;D

I'll help you out since you're flailing.   Trump wants to blame Ukraine because that's what Putin wants him to do

Actually, Trump blames Democrats, Not Ukraine which he gave access to weapons of war.... What did Obama give them again? Oh.... That's right, Blankets.

Democrats just keep trying to twist reality to meet a narrative that just doesn't exist.

Mueller's report said Russians helped Trump, detailed how Team Trump accepted that help, and detailed how they lied about all of that to investigators and to congress.

Democrat politicians have been calling for impeachment for the past three years. They knew there was no collusion and no crime that could be tied to Trump for impeachment. Even now, They know that they could pass a simple majority impeachment in the House, but He will never be convicted in the Senate. He's going to win the 2020 election. You have no candidate.

Sanders is weak and his health concerns is going to crush his campaign.

Warren has a 52 trillion dollar plan over 10 years for healthcare. She would have to raise taxes another 1.2 trillion dollars, roughly, an allow no other federal spending to achieve that moronic plan. It's laughable and only a moron would vote for her.

Biden.... LMAO His actions in Ukraine sealed the deal.

The rest. Not a chance in hell to beat Trump.

And if Clinton pops her head up into the race, She'll lose just like she did in 2016.

Not even if the likes of you didn't exist.  8)

Yet you wish to discuss American politics. Yeah, I don't think so poser. You wish you were American. You wish you had rights, instead of being a subject.

Nazi?  Your guy has the Ku Klux Klan out in force whenever he shows up in your beloved red states and you cheer when he puts children in cages, your new Auschwitz. At least in Chicago we have running water and electricity.  Why don't you saddle up your horse and grab your fiddle and ride on out of here. And take your "stars and bars" with you.

Your party started the KKK. So don't even try that bullshit. Your party gave them the orders to claim support for Trump to drive voter participation. Obama started the practice of "children in cages" and the policy continues. Are you really this stupid or just a reprobate liar? It's one of those two.

I'm not from Texas... I hear they have running water though.  ::)

The Democrats created the confederate flag. So.... You can keep it.  8)

Talk about dumb, he's coming to Chicago in a week or so. That should be fun.   ;D ;D ;D
Chicago is not Dallas, duh!

That's true. Chicago couldn't wipe the mud of a Texan's shoe. I bet you he'll still have a lot of supporters show up, despite the whinny ass welfare Liberals and their nazi socialist protesting.

No shit. Washington D.C. is a Democrat sponge welfare city.... Of course the majority of the people there are democrats and booed Trump.

And Trump knew this. He still showed up and didn't bat an eye about it. Why? Because it makes no difference how people in D.C. feel about him. We've already proven that with the 2016 election.

In other words, Their booing means absolutely nothing.

What kind of "help" ware we talking about here?

Apparently asking for any documentation of the corruption, which they already knew existed from another country which is in possession of that documentation is help to a campaign, not the pursuit of justice. At least Biden would be able to enjoy due process if he were indicted.... Biden has a huge platform to explain what looks like corruption to the voters. Instead he claims there is none and dismisses the questions. It is clear there was an issue. It will only become clearer how deep the corruption went.

so why doesn't Trump refer the matter to, you know, American law enforcement if he thinks something illegal happened?

It's currently under investigation. And unless you're Trump, The details of the investigation aren't normally leaked. To think that these individuals are not under investigation for treason would be a mistake. And with the information that is available to the public, I would venture to say there is much more damning evidence that's currently classified. Of course that is an assumption, and waiting for the final word on indictments is more important.

In the case of Trump, Schiff said there was evidence of collusion with the Russian government. He lied. He's lying again and it's going to become evident very soon.

Biden is not the Democratic candidate for President 2020. He is a possible candidate for the DNC primary 2019. Any investigation into his wrong doing would better serve Democrats than hurt them. Why? Because if Biden got the nomination and this came out during his presidential campaign, The loss would have been even more significant. If you think Biden is the candidate,. It's your right to vote for him. Either way though, He was involved with receiving political bribes for pay to play with Ukraine natural gas production.

14
You could say "Trump's political opponent" if you were trying to be honest.

so why doesn't Trump refer the matter to, you know, American law enforcement if he thinks something illegal happened?

There is significant evidence that Democrats, including Vice President Joe Biden, were involved in pay for play in authorizing payments to expand the Ukraine gas production. A move that lead to Biden's son receiving tens of thousands up to hundreds of thousands of dollars per month from the very natural gas company that benefited from these expansion funds.

It's very telling that the Democrats are eager to sweep that under the rug and focus on impeachment, the very action they have been calling for since day one of Trump's presidency. You're all delusional reprobates.

"one of the candidates"  ;D

One involved in a criminal conspiracy robbing more than a billion dollars from US tax payers to pad his families holdings. Yes, One of the candidates. One that should have and would have been investigated earlier, if not for the corruption of the Democrats.
