Mine is the tragic airplane death of Ron Brown, the death in jail by heart attack of James McDougal, and the suicide of Vince Foster.

Those are more of the "truth yet to be revealed" genre....on the other hand, a number of so-called "conspiracy" theories are just that...truth yet to be revealed....

I think one the conspiracy theorist's problems with the moon landings was the way in which they were presented. I would be surprised if an attempt wasn't made to meticulously recreate the area of the proposed landing site (right down to numbering the rocks). The propaganda value and the sheer cost of beating the Soviets to the moon wasn't going to be jeopardized by a failure to get 'live' sound and pictures of the event onto every television and radio in the world.

The recreated area of the moon would of course officially only have been intended and used for mission exercises which in turn would have been filmed for training and debriefing purposes.  No propagandist in his right mind wouldn't have looked at that film and thought, 'No, we can't splice any of that footage into anything we might actually manage to successfully broadcast from the moon, that would be dishonest!."
