I have often wondered about the fallout that would result from a Governor or Mayor, of a place where the President was about to visit, simply saying, "Who cares?" and not only completely ignoring the situation, but refusing to allow local law enforcement to do anything whatsoever to assist the Secret Service in establishing and maintaining security. Just pretend that he's not coming.
