We are still by far the richest nation on earth.

According to Wikipedia, the United States is no longer "the richest nation on Earth."

Or 2nd...or 3rd...or 4th...or 5th...or 6th.

However, according to Wikipedia, the United States is the country with the most debt.  In fact, more than $2 Trillion more than the entire European Union and twice as much as the United Kingdom.

Every man, woman and child in this country is indebted to the tune of $47,568.

Actually China is still a poor country and it has a long way to go.

You're very confused.

Millions are poor in China, but have you seen Shanghai?

most everything you see there was built in the last 10 years

Only the European Union ranks higher in GDP than we do, and that's not exactly a nation. China is third but it has 4 times as many people.

Oh, I see.  We're going to play Liberal Words Play.  You're not talking about "countries" or "unions" or "states."  You're talking about "nations."  Excellent.  Using your "wordsmithery," there is actually only one (1) "nation" on Earth today.  The rest of them are "countries" or "states," so, yes, you are correct.

The United States is the "richest nation on earth."

It is also the ONLY "nation" on earth.

I retreat in defeat.   Cry

Dumbass.
