Not really much of a story, now is it? A small group of pro-choice folks apparently think it would be a hoot if they "infiltrated" an anti-choice gathering and disrupted it for a few minutes? Mr. Vortex is free to think that this is some kind of important development in the history of this issue - or to pretend to believe it for the camera - and, naturally, you are, too, but I'm not impressed.

By the way, Mornac, I'm curious about something. What are your views on the standard practice by fertility clinics of fertilizing multiple ova and keeping them frozen, then disposing of them? Does life also, in your view, begin at conception in a lab dish? If so, would you favor legislation that would ban these medical/scientific practices, as well?

Funny story....last year there was a labor rally here in chicago on the same day as the right to life rally.  The right to lifers crossed the street and tried to use the large labor crowd to make their own group look large.  Very pathetic.

--Of course. My beliefs, just like johnhp’s, are identical with the Church’s teaching on the matter. We don’t change our beliefs just because science changes the scenery.

In this instance, I believe it's far, far less a case of anyone feeling "threatened" than it is a situation where some folks saw an opportunity to draw attention to themselves and "act out" in front of the cameras. Pro-choice forces really don't have a lot of cause to feel threatened, so long as sanity reigns and the Constitution stands; the law and public opinion remain solidly on their side. As much as some people and groups would apparently love to see it, the days of illegal, back alley abortions are not coming back.

I was repsonding to a post Holly gave me to start the thread, and I did so because badnews was playing his childish game of lock out. A gaime where he would say crazy shit about me or blacks in general, then use the  lock funciton in order to not let me respond.

So before we whine, perhaps we need to understand the reasons behind something. I did not call Holly out, I simply left a message responding to what she had said that I was unable to on it's original thread due to the fact hat badnews wanted to play his little silly childish ass games.
