Well, yes. "Conservatives" are cowards but it would be more accurate to call them dysfunctional.

They act out their frustrations IM and what you're seeing is them acting out their frustration. They see the disaster they've managed to make with their raw anger and incompetence and they don't know how to extract themselves from it. They're stuck with either Romney or Gingrich and they know either one is going to get creamed. Of course they can't own up to any of this, and they know too that deep down their ideology is sick.

They will get worse before they hit bottom, at which point they will either die entirely or they will accept the fact that they're sick and they need to want to get better.
