He reneged on his agreement with the Republicans to sign the Keystone Oil Pipeline thus killing over 20,000 American jobs and billions of barrels of oil that could have come to us.  Now that oil is going to go to China, so not only did we lose the the jobs and the money, we are also going to lose the oil.

There is something wrong with this guy.  Seriously.

Quote
BY MATTHEW DALY
The Associated Press

WASHINGTON • House Speaker John Boehner says President Barack Obama is breaking his promise to create jobs by rejecting a plan to build an oil pipeline from Canada to Texas.

Boehner says Republicans will keep fighting for the Keystone XL pipeline because the project is good for the U.S. economy because it would create thousands of jobs.

The president says he’s turning down the project not because it isn’t worthy, but because of what he calls an arbitrary Feb. 21 deadline he was given by Congress to make a decision. The deadline was set by a GOP-written provision as part of a tax bill that Obama signed into law just before Christmas.

The president says in a statement that he’s disappointed that Republicans in Congress forced the decision. Obama had until late next month to decide whether the pipeline was in the national interest.

Administration officials says the looming deadline cut short the time needed to conduct environmental reviews after the State Department ordered the project developer to find an alternate route to avoid environmentally sensitive areas of Nebraska.

The 1,700-mile pipeline would carry oil from tar sands in western Canada to refineries in Texas. It would pass through Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma.

Remember the payroll taxes extension?  This is what this was all about, so Obama would SIGN this.  He lied going into that negotiation...and remember when you douches said "Boehner Caves?"  Well, he won't cave the next time because he is going to attach Keystone to the long-term payroll tax extension that Obama absolutely needs to have passed at the end of February.

There was no such agreement.  The agreement was to make a decision.  He did that.

You can bet your saggy nut sack that there WILL be an agreement before Obama gets the payroll tax extension he so desperately needs in February, boy.

Don't call me "boy", asshole.

Boehner evidently counted on you guys being too stupid to be able to discern the difference in order to be able to get something passed.

I don't have any idea how they'll resolve this, but it should be interesting to watch.

Boehner already said how he's gonna resolve it.  He is going to put in a clause in the payroll tax extension that is so iron clad, it will have rust and the hammer and anvil marks on it...boy.

I hope he does.  If he ties approval of that pipeline to be the condition for not raising taxes on all working Americans, he'll ruin the Republicans.

Because of Nebraska's refusal to approve the route, the company had to submit another route, which it hasn't done yet.  How is the Administration supposed to approve a project that hasn't been fully submitted yet?  It's ridiculous.  Kind of like you.

Boy oh boy, boy.

Are you aware the Feds don't even get involved in pipelines except when they cross State lines?  Because this is a foreign deal, the Feds are also involved.  Once again, if the Feds would just get out of the business of business, everyone could get their jobs done.

Did you hear about that $2 Billion "green job" that was awarded to the French using OUR money?

Yep.  That was another Federal intrusion.
