How the Revolution was defeated

Yes, because as anyone who knows anything about French history is aware, small bands of devout Catholics from the French equivalent of Mississippi managed to rout the Revolutionary forces and re-install the monarchy.   Roll Eyes

If someone fails at trying to make you bend to their will and they have to resort to killing you because you won’t do it – you win.

Good luck with that plan.

Good luck with that plan.

--Why do you say that? Is there an impending revolution aimed at supressing Catholics that you know something about? Please share.

It's your plan. I simply wished you good luck with it.

--My plan for what?

Your plan for letting someone kill you rather than bending to their will.

You were the one who stated it; here let me quote you.

Quote from: Mornac

Since you stated it in an approving way, I assumed that it was your plan. Your plan - not mine. Did you mean it, or were you just engaging in some overly dramatic bloviation. (Speaking of which, whatever happened to Polaris?)

Interesting.  I didn't get the impression he was talking about himself in particular so much as people in general.  Let me see if I can clarify...

The quote was:

Quote

Now, had Mornac been speaking of himself as in "his plan," wouldn't it stand to reason, it would be phrased thusly?

Mornac was talking of the principle of the slain person winning, doncha think?

As usual, pusshead cannot extrapolate or associate when reading conversational English.  He needs to be rewired.

Yes, that is exactly the way I understood it.

This is yet another glimpse into The Mind of a Liberal and their inability to communicate on a level where they haven't already come to some wild-assed pre-conceived conclusion.

If this intellectual superiority snobbish air would just be dropped and the looking down the nose of others who do not share their world view was even recognized that there is, indeed, other people who do not think like they do might have another point of view to offer, none of this shit would even be happening.

Nothing new to see here, folks.  Move along, now.

--I have no such “plan”.

You were the one who stated it; here let me quote you.
--Oh, I see where you went astray. For some undisclosed reason, you took my philosophical statement to be a “plan”.

Quote
Since you stated it in an approving way, I assumed that it was your plan.
--Yeah, liberals are always assuming things when they should just concentrate on comprehending them.

Quote
Your plan - not mine.
--Nor mine.

Quote
Did you mean it, or were you just engaging in some overly dramatic bloviation.
--I meant every word of my philosophical statement. A plan is something one devises to cope with an imminent event. I wasn’t aware that there was an imminent event that required my planning. That’s why I asked you.

Actually, Polaris told me he doesn't enjoy some of the company on here.
