That's basically what I said.

Okay. I must have misunderstood. I took your post to mean that the "necessary and proper" clause implied the government had powers other than those specifically enumerated in the Constitution. I am glad you agree it does not.

It's kinda hard to decipher a Moonbat...even when he agrees with you.

I kind of like Undecided. I respect the fact that he at least puts forth a reasoned argument instead of just jumping up and down hysterically and going into rabid dog mode when you disagree with him. If all the Liberals on the board approached discussions like Undecided and Doug Rich, we could actually have a lot of pretty decent and interesting discussions on a wide number of issues.

Instead, we have idiots like JohnHP and Dagon, who couldn't reason their way out of a room with an open door.

He's alright.  He has a tendency to "lose his shit" over others' opinions at times, which makes me question his maturity and experience on anonymous bulletin boards.

Are you suggesting I don't acknowledge that I'm an asshole or something?

No, but when you call someone else an asshole, there's usually a hidden assumption that the person speaking does not regard himself as such.

Your assumption has been clarified, sir.  I acknowledge that I am a total asshole.

You got a problem with that?

I don't think so.

No, not in any real meaningful way.  Good-natured assholiness is not something to take seriously.

Still, assholiness doesn't make for a serious productive discussion, but you're not a serious  productive person, so no prob.

Fine.  You understand my position.  I don't know yours.  Nor am I particularly interested in knowing.
