Do you know why stores don't donate more of their "past expiration" date food to the needy more than they do?  Some don't donate it at all.  As outrageous as it sounds, they have been sued for providing "less than fresh" bread or cheese that may have had a small nanogram of some mold on it...and they have lost.

There comes a certain point when people who truly care for the needy get bitten by them one too many times for anyone to give a shit about any longer when they become ungrateful for anything and everything.

What is that old saying?  "Beggars should not be choosers?"

Can you cite actual cases where this has happened (if so, please do).  i have heard this before, but know that this is largely inaccurate, here at least, having donated time at soup kitchens
