In 20 years, Ron Paul has sponsored or introduced 621 bills.

Number passed:  1.

Hmmm.

If America goes COMPLETELY insane and elects this nutcase as president, he'll be facing a Congress with BOTH parties hostile to him, and he'll end up passing nothing of significance whatsoever. The bloom will soon come off the rose for this guy even among his most deaf-to-common-sense followers.

The only reason somebody as ridiculous as RuPaul is in the position he's in right now is because the Republicans fucked up so badly over the past year as far as candidates go. All the party's most effective and attractive candidates for some reason decided that Obama was a shoe-in for 2012 and decided to sit this election out....the MORONS!!!! So now you have the triple-A [some of the double A or even, in the case of Paul, A] teams running, not the majors.

with Herman999 gone, he's likely the only one that Obama could beat.

I still like Newt because he would make the best president, but he's fading fast, shit happens

looks like were gonna be stuck with 8 years of a guy named Mitt

but on the other hand, a lot more shit can happen before the convention.

And let's  not forget that most ridiculous feature of Republican internal politics: the devotion to political primogeniture: the senseless adherence to the rule that the runner up in the last election gets to be candidate for the next one, regardless of how hoepless and born-to-lose that candidate is. This is the system that gave us such luminaries as Dole and McCain. Why have primaries at ALL if that's how you prefer to do things?!

Well, just as long as any of them can type on a keyboard (unlike McCain), he's okay in my book.   Cool

Fitting. RuPaul has an awful lot in common with that scum, if his infamous newsletters are anything to go by.
