Northern California McDonald’s® Offers Free Small Coffee During Tough Economic Times

“In this challenging economic climate, we know that many are struggling to make ends meet and this is our way of lending support during these difficult times,”

"The free coffee program will last two weeks, beginning Monday, January 2 and ending on Sunday, January 15"

and by then everybody will be working, their pockets will be stuffed with cash and all will be well.....

I just hope they will still allow the homeless guys to use their bathrooms, the puke filled urinals and sinks and  the brown streaked walls (what is that stuff?  paint? mud?)

Wait!  Doesn't coffee make you alert to your surroundings?

Who in the Holy Shit wants to be aware of what is happening to them when they're poor?  If McDonalds had a grain of decency, they would give poor people heroin or X.

Food and jobs?

Some might call McDonald's a Godsend.

In this little dump there are few jobs available except at the fast food joints, and they provide jobs for those who are low on skills or don't have a dependable car to commute to a larger town for a better job, if they qualify that is.

I have noticed that the more mature people, those in their 30s and 40s, make better hands as they are more productive.  So many of the younger ones cannot make change well or even select the options on the order screen.  If that is an indication of how well our school system works then we are in for a long haul of dumb asses wanting and needing a way to support themselves.
