Sometime in the past I have insulted and offended Mornac because of something I said to him. Given my senior memory, I cannot recall the incident, and given my vacation status, I cannot even verify what he tells me the incident was.

Nonetheless, that was a mean thing of me to do and I hereby say to Mornac that I am sorry for it and would like to regain his friendship. I take back what I said, and hope we can continue to have our frank discussions because it has been a genuine and intersting learning experience for me.

People diss the Catholics and their beliefs, and it seems to be a natural thing for people to do, to criticize or fear something they don't understand.  Perhaps if people would take the time to read Mornac's posts they could gain a better understanding of his great Church.

Mornac, by providing so many accounts of Christians being abused and even murdered by people of other faith, particularly the Muslim faith, is doing us a great service by presenting factual evidence that Islam is not the religion of love that some would like us to believe.  Sadly, Islamic extremists degrade  whatever value their religion does have to humanity, and we need to see that because our worst enemy is those who seek to either convert us, run us out of our land, or kill us. That to me is not love, that is hatred based on superstition and misinformation foisted upon the every day Muslim by those who seek to gain by wreaking misery and death upon us.

Hopefully there are caring Muslims in the world, and there may be some on this forum.  Isn't it time they spoke out for fairness and equity for all religions and not just their own? The extremists in their faith are giving all who follow that faith a bad name, and it isn't right.  So they need to get up and speak out against such predators and regain the respect they deserve. There is something sadly wrong with a creed that claims love and at the same time advocates harm to those who are not of their faith.
