Pepsi,

Still waiting for that update.  Please get back to us when Mr. Hanauer sends in his check for the extra tax money he feels he should have paid...

That's what I said.

You don't know. *shrugs*

Just that "it should be more."  How much more, you just don't know.

*Case Closed*

IM2 REALLY doesn't know.  If he thought he did, I'm sure he'd tell ya but no one is less interested than the Left in finding out what that "fair share" is.

Why do I say that?  Believe it or not having the rich not paying their fair share does an awful lot of explaining. Most have already heard that government programs fail or are out-performed by their private counterparts for this very reason.

That’s right.

Welfare programs failed to end the war on poverty, because the rich aren’t paying their fair share.

Public schools aren’t better or even close to being as good as private schools, because the rich aren’t paying their fair share.

And why do you think the U.S. Post Office isn’t as good as Fedex, UPS or any of the other private carriers? I think you’ve already guessed–those doggone rich people are again not payin’ their fair share!  If anyone ever discovers what that "fair share" is I hope they're smart enough to keep it to themselves or at least take out some mondo life insurance before they announce it.

foodserver,

You are not capable of talking about what I don't know.

You are just another old idiot white man who lived more than half your life reaping the benefits of a segregated society that denied everyone but whites, and now you want to claim that yue are where you are due to how hard you workled.

Untrue.

Untrue. Underfunding of such programs is why the poverty rate is not close zero. In the years since the WOP was implemented, poverty has been reduced in large numbers in every demographic. Politicans depend upon people to not do the research, and foodserver is an example of such.

Underfunding and class size is conviently left out by this idiot. Idiot is all this person can be. THE PRIVATE FINANICAL SERVICES FEILD CERTAINLY FAILED US AND IT TOOK GOVERNMENT TO BAIL THEM OUT. SO THEN THE PRIVATE SECTOR IS NOT MORE EFFICIENT OR BETTER THAN ANYTHING.

You have shown yourself to  be more than capable of explaining what the poors fair share is. If you can do that, you can explain the richie rich person fair shre too. Secondly I think that there is an act of congress that pretty much put something on the post office that no other business must endure. Of course you miss this, and like the rest ofhe ignorant conservative base, you try making s a simple answer out of a complex issue.

Privatize is not the answer. You want to see crumble and ruination? We do things your way. Whenis it that conservatives will ever shut up with their old ass over repeated ideas of how to run a country that never, ever work?
