According to the GAO, nearly 500 people played a role in Clinton's nine-day trip across China, either traveling with the president, providing support to the delegation of travelers, or traveling to China earlier as a part of several advance teams that assisted in the planning of the president's trip. I’ve just got through demonstrating that in the post Christendom era, Western man has descended into an  atmosphere of terror and shear distrust toward his fellow man to the extent that a chief of state has to spend millions of taxpayer dollars employing armies of security personnel and advance intelligence just to travel to another “civilized” modern state. Harry Truman never had to travel under the conditions Clinton deemed necessary.  The escalation of liberalism in the years since WWII has harnessed once normal people with a cumbersome load of fear and loathing.
