"When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of men's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses, for art establishes the basic human truths which must serve as the touchstone of our judgment."

Sure.

Haiku is good. It is short.  It can be profound.

So, do you like the George Winston or not/

I like piano music.  And you oughta hear mine?Huh?

We had two little cockers once, litter mates they were. Lady would patiently sit at the piano bench while I whacked away on the keys, but the little one, Lacy, would let out a whoop and head for  the kitchen.  She just did not appreciate the finer things in life.  Roll Eyes

Roger William, who died just a few weeks ago, was my favorite, and I like "Soft Summer Breeze" by Eddie Heywood.

I logged on tonight.

George Winston’s music seeped out.

I smiled a little.
