These are the rules of NewsRake

NO posting personal messages (PMs) on the forum
NO posting another members personally identifiable information (PII)
NO calling out another member in a subject line
NO posting articles without a link to the source
NO soliciting members for services (aka SPAM)
NO threats to another member, physical or otherwise
NO adult material (aka Pornography)

These rules may be updated from time to time. 
Violation of these rules may result in deletion of your account and/or banning as determined by management.

Also note moderators are not reading each message; if you feel a message violates NewsRake's rules and would like NewsRake management to take action on it use the "report to moderator" button.


Updates:

No calling out a poster or using profanity ie the f word followed by you.

The situation has simply gotten out of hand, and I take responsibility for that.

Thanks for your understanding. No one has been banned because of this. Just given a week's vacation.

Thank you Lucy for the update......I appreciate banning the use of the "F" word.......it will help to make the atmosphere more conducive for civility and help to promote honest discussion.......for the life of me I can't understand why adults can't converse without the use of vulgarity .....it must be a superiority complex

I already like the improved civility around here.    Personally I'd rather have 5 of us chat in civility than 100 of us at each others throats every day.

good rule update, but f followed by u sounds kinda vague and easily sidestepped

at any rate, from this point forward,  I solemnly vow to refrain from using any word stronger that darn, shucks or phooey as long as the rule is in effect

and just to kick it up a notch, I further promise to not even speak rudely to another poster.....unless they do it first

If it wasn't for a few jerks like you we would not be having these problems.  Things went just fine around here until you punks showed up and started showing your ignorance.

Gloat on idiot, your number is coming up too.  The other guys may play a little rough at times but they usually don't start the messes unless some idiot coontinues to ask for it.

For a guy that regularly uses derogatory words to describe other ethnicities, you have no room or moral ground to stand on here. In fact, it would do you good to heed more of Lucy's own words from a couple days ago, in which she called YOU out by name specifially as follows:

"I gave wide berth to everyone equally for a long time....

You guys demanded I become some sort of Gestapo lady and so by request I am banning anyone who says anything perversely abnormal about any other poster as the new rules about insulting people as we agreed upon today suggest. READ this before making a statement.

Someone should alert Ivan also but again I am not going to take past issues into account here. It is a new day."

Looks like she already has YOU on the radar moreso than me . I can control myself. I have a hard time believing you can. Rant all you want, but she didn't callme out by name, but you were specifically mentioned. Process that wisely.

Look at the lack of responses to you idiotic and obnoxious posts. How many of them are supportive of you and how many are critical of you?  Connect the dots fool.

If you think that by kissing lucy's ass you will continue to get away with your behavior then you are in for a rude awakening  because I have never known her to play favorites to scumbags.
