Not racism. I am not a racist, frankly. I can be called many things but that tag doesn't fit.

Obama is not a president that has represented the blacks either really. He is, at heart, just as elitist as anyone in the game. You felt he would represent blacks. He has not.

More of the same really...

More war. More debt. More billion dollar bailouts. More subservience to the corporation...etc.

If you want a president who will represent the value in human beings as individuals you really need to think about who will represent you outside thinking about party lines...black white hispanic asian or otherwise...imho.

And then there is the Gulf of Mexico...many blacks live there and are struggling to make a living fishing etc...their livelihoods are ruined by this disaster...many whites and asians as well...

Obama allowed the worst possible solution, which is the use of harmful dispersants, to be applied and still today, there is ongoing damage beyond repair unless viable safe technology is used to clean up the toxins in the water..Obama has done nothing to remedy this situation.

But, again, this is just one huge area of concern that no one has been willing to address..among others. Oil rules us frankly. No presidential candidate will touch our energy problems with oil or with nuclear issues or fracking or any of these harmful industries..because the companies that rule oil and nuclear issues are some of the biggest donors to campaigns...both democrats and republicans.

just food for thought.

If Obama wants to be the hero he will clean up the Gulf and other areas where oil is killing the environment..he would do everything possible to help Japan with the Fukushima disaster and he would call for a moratorium on odious debt, and ask that the derivative trading platform be declared null and void since it is speculative anyway and doesn't represent real money.

He would also stop all foreign payments to help our own debt load.

etc.  a start.

Also keep Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid in operation with funding from the same funding that is making money on privatized debt..the hidden ace in the operations..the US government actually has investments that could be called upon to ease our debt but is not because profit remains privatised and debt is socialized so to speak....

etc. There are many ways Obama could help salvage this country.

He could indeed bring our troops home as well. And stop this insane ongoing military fiasco.

.................Yeh, a Libber may believe in personal freedom and the right to do his thing, but does he give a damn about his neighbor's house being on fire? Shojld I care if the lady next door is being raped and is crying her eyes out?  Hell no, let her suffer, it is every man for himself.

...........................

apparently you DO NOT care now, since the cop/thug you taxed your neighbors including raped lady to pay for has NO ENFORCEABLE OBLIGATION to come to her aid and routinely does not. Any real American or libertarian KNOWS this already and is prepared to come to a neighbor's aid with his/her own ordinance.

Cops do not exist to serve & protect anyone except their 1% Masters and that from the other 99% the 1% are robbing.

The very idea that a president will represent the blacks is in itself dumb.  What about the Mexicans, who are in the millions?  Who is looking out for them , or the impoverished immigrants from the Pacific rim.

Are the blacks only ones that are elibible to achieve the American dream the blacks?  Black people comprise only 13% of our total population but to listen to the liberals you'd think they were the only ones that count. it is not wonder guyhs like me get our bellies full of the reverse discrimintation.

Why do I respect and even admire the Mexicans who come to America, sleep three deep in a bunk bed, if they even have one to  sleep in, and quietly go about trying to make a living.  I lived amongst Mexicans in Dallas for over a year and I reall changed my opinion of them. Their worst impediment is their poor English speaking skills, which cause gringos to make fun of them.

Did I make fun of the six Mexicans who replaced my roof in 100 plus tempereature this year?  What do you think?  I didn't see any black people on my roof or on anyone's roof in this town as 80 percent of the roofs in town were replaced due to  a hail storm.  The point is this. If blacks would just do their job, tend to their own damned business, and stay out of my face I might have more use for them. I think that is simply human nature to feel that way.

A socialist calling a moratorium on odious debt?  When pigs fly.  Obama has a money tree in his backyard, haven't you heard?

I think you are wrong.  Where do you live, in some jungle?

We have had the help of policemen on more than one occasion.  Granted, there are bad cops, but to diss them the way you do is dumb.  Why have laws, why have the constitutional rights if they cannot be enforced?  That is what cops do.

Coming to the aid of a person in distress can get very costly, particularly if you try to play Matt Dillion. Unfortunately the laws tend to favor the bad guys.

I think you are wrong.................

OK smart guy- give us a LINK to even one case where a KC/Topeka/Wichita cop stopped a rape or murder in progress............OR where a cop was punished for failing to come to the aid of a Citizen because sure as hell a number of Citizens have been raped/murdered in those places in the past 6 months.

BTW your oh so trusted cops just love to bust Citizens for doing the protecting/defending of innocents which they the barney's won't do.

Newt and even Cain are probably only late horses in the race because of Ron Paul...how the establishment hates him...

I am not even sure Paul is the right man for the job. So far, we really don't have anyone credible to lead us.
I don't think he can command the voter support he needs, and if he were elected he would face a hostile Congress.  We have to understand these things, and need to find a candidate that can lead the Congress instead of having to fight them every step of the way like Obama has.

Was he personally involved in those decisions or in the oversight?  Had he got personally involved someone would accuse him of micromaging the situation.  If the people in the  regulatory bodies cannot  make the right decisions then we need to replace them with people who can.

The long term and intelligent solution is not to rely on technocrats for bandaids and damge control, but to stop drilling in Gulf waters.
