Yes, it has.

Do you actually believe the health care bill is in its final form?

LOL.

If there are amendments to the law that are in the process of consideration that you believe have provisions for death panels, publish them.  Proving your point is that simple.  There are either provisions or there are not.

IPAB.

Read it.

Especially this part.

"Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius appeared before two House committees this week, trying to testify on controversial aspects of ObamaCare.  At issue: The Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) that’s made up of 15 presidential appointees — a majority of whom are required to be a nonphysicians —  who have the power to analyze the financial drivers of the Medicare system, as well as determining which beneficiaries can receive care."

That is not what IBAP does.  But do you have a link to your statement?  There is nothing in sections 3403 or 10320 of the Act that allows the panel to determine which beneficiaries get care.

Got it.  No provisions whatsoever.

None that you would be willing to examine.  But that's okay.

i am willing to examine all provisions on which such a claim is made.  This is why i asked for you, or anyone with the erroneous belief that death panels are part of the legislation to post the provisions.  Since i made the request only one posted has made reference to any provisions of the law.  That would be me.  If you think you have a provision, feel free to post it.

Understood.  You are unable, as are the others making this claim, to back up the claims.  You are dismissed.

I know from experience that the treatment of certain maladies is certainly being scrutinized, and I think the driving force is cost containment. Even the medical specialists are becoming more defensive and less decisive on treating the many ailments of oldsters like me.

It is therefore conceivable that older people will be offered less help than in the past because of cost considerations, and this may hasten their death.
Getting old is the pits, that is until some good looking broad catches me drooling  on her.

Yesterday I was in a Wendy's with the group of drivers having lunch before starting the long trek home with our clunkers. This pretty woman and I made eye contact, and my coke started to boil.  Ha.

She was a looker, and we enjoyed every second of each other.  Hell I ain't dead yet, and if it weren't for the pretty girls in the doctors' office I wouldn't even go because that is all I get out of if except a bill.    Roll Eyes

My wife doesn't know what to do with me, and said that in time Nature will take care of my problem.  Cool
