I used to like Dennis Miller doing weekend update on SNL and thought he was good there. His Monday Night Football stint sucked, and his right wing commentary sucks as well. He became un-funny. Victoria Jackson is a total whackjob.

To answer your question. I think right wing "humor" victimizes more. Rather than "have fun with" something/someone-they make fun of- while placing themselves in the"better than"/ higher caste. And it's not usually "fun" what they do, but rather degrading. Just my opinion.

A liberal buddy of mine brought me to see Lewis Black.  I could not believe it.  No one in the place was laughing, including myself.  It was 1.5 hours of insufferable spew.

I told my buddy "If you ever take me to see an asshole like that again, I will head butt you right square in the nut sack."  He knew I meant it.

there are cases where liberal comics aren't funny and some who are very funny.  I have never seen a funny conservative comic, ever.

Bill Maher nails it!

Bill Maher is always funny to me

Like most stand-up comedians, Dennis Miller is usually the brightest and most informed person in the room.  Anyone watching a game show with contestants composed of members of the entertainment industry finds this out (about stand-up comics in general) quickly.  I'm always amused at the specter of liberals convinced of their intellectual superiority.  I mean you have to have major IQ points goin' for ya in order to come up with the idea of giving people free stuff as a way to make yourself popular right (?) and so it is pretty easy for a "conservative" comedian to make me laugh when the joke is at the expense of liberalism.

All things considered, I guess "conservative" humor isn't that good because it doesn't represent much of an achievement to lampoon liberalism...

It is not funny to liberals because they are the butts of the jokes. Piss on you freaks, you reap what you sow.

He does make some interesting comments about women imo.  I think he might be a fun guy to hang with as long as we were talking about anything but politics and my personal safety was not dependent upon his operation of anything with moving parts...
