The mentality of the past admin. reminds me of a bunch of rednecks who would rather fight than talk.  I once knew a family like that and their attitude was something I could never master.  I guess it is some sort of a pride thing, low esteem and the like. Little kids in nursery school got a long better than those bozos.

I think what we are seeing is the tail wagging the dog.  Washington's foreign policy is designed to aid a select few and is determined by a select few, a pressure group within the NSC bureaucracy headed up by Wolfowitz and other greedy bastards.  It is not intended for public consumption as we are the useful idiots whose sole use to them is to do the dying and to pick up the tab.

It appears that Obam is going with a more reasoned approach to relations with those we normally haven't gotten along with and I hope it works.  For example, Russia and Iran.  What is to be gained by blowing each other to pieces with nukes?  That is the games little boys play in the sandlots.appears

I don't think it takes a mental giant to figure out what the Arabs want of the Jews and of us for that matter.  This struggle has been going on since the advent of Islam.

Religion is also for the winners.  It is all in how you look at it. If you give a loser some hope then maybe he will become a winner.  It is primarily up to each of us to make the life we choose.

Good point Holly, and I would want that too if I were in their shoes. There hasn't been anything in the news lately about the Gaza conflict.  Have you heard anything?
