...and a Cadillac.  Also, all medical, holidays and paid vacation.  Did I miss anything?

I'm holding off for a Mercedes.

I told them I would think about it because I have a responsibility to this forum to keep you all abreast of the Truth & Facts concerning Horrible Obama.

I hope you appreciate this.

No, those were your calculations...assuming I worked 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

I have been semi-retired for about 15 years.  I consult on an occasional basis with attorneys.  I wear several hats in the legal field.  I am what is known as "an expert."

This "job offer" would be doing nothing but speaking to people about stuff they don't know but need to know which I do know.  Certainly no grunt work.  I pay people to do my sweaty shit.  But I pay them more than minimum wage.  Probably more than they are worth.  For example, I have just retained an illegal Mexican to do some work around the house, wash my truck, etc.  He told me "I happy I work for you."  I told him "I happy you work for me, too."

See?  Even illegal Mexicans can be happy in the United States...and he doesn't have a student loan to pay off, either.

Now that you mention it, the latinos do seem to be content with a miserly living.  Maybe they don't have high expectations? Maybe the miserly wage they earn here in the states is very good compared to what they would get back home?

Exactly.  They are happier with less.  They haven't been raised to believe they are entitled to it.  They have learned that if you want something bad enough, you will work longer and harder for it to get it.  They do not believe the American government (the American taxpayer) owes them.  If they cannot afford it, they do without.

While able-bodied young men and women are sitting in parks and complaining about their misery and how unfair it is, the Mexicans are mowing their mommies and daddies lawns.
