This does not address the problem.  Term limits does...

Of course it addresses the problem.

John says,

i am not sure what you do not understand about freedom and representative government that you think gives you the right to limit the choices of candidates for people.

Well, for one, the constitution has made provisions whereby it can be changed to do just that.  There is ample precedent.  A president must be 40yrs old for example.

You are mixing issues.  You all discuss term limits but do not want to do the work of passing a constitutional amendment.  You guys have not mentioned this until i brought it up.  If that is what you want to do, then get about the work rather than bitching.  Your "precedents" are part of the constitution.  And, btw, you must be at least 35 to be president, not 40.

The most successful men I know will tell you that they are only successful because they are able to accept ‘no’ and not take it personally. Again, unsuccessful men take a ‘rejection’ as a personal assault on their inner child. Don’t make this mistake.

Thank you John-and by the way, someone with a doctorate should know you don't start a sentence with a conjunction.

Don't try to shift your insecurity concerning your ignorance of the constitution onto me.  This is a casual conversation.

I'll agree that you have a casual approach towards the English language, among other things...

Which, of course, is much better than having a casual attitude toward knowledge.  Casual communication still communicates.  You knew exactly what i was communicating to you.  On the other hand faulty information is just terrible.
