Yea, we knew this was coming indeed.    Let's see if and how Perry goes for this angle with the evangelical holier than thou voters (aka the GOP base).   My bet is he himself will take the high road while letting his surrogates go for the Mormonism is a cult line.

Personally I think if Mormonism is a cult so is Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism,  Muslimism, etc, etc

That's how I see it to. I think Perry is in the "drowning man" stage of his campaign and so it won't amount to much.  Still, I think dagon is pretty close to right about this.  If Romney loses the nomination, this will probably be why.  What is funny is that, like so many other things about Romney, the Left will have no problem with this, once he has the nomination.  There will be two attacks on candidate Romney. 1)Not black. 2)Rich person who doesn't pretend to think rich people should give their money away.  The religious thing won't compute.

We didn't "deserve" to win last time around for this reason imo.  Fortunately, I think the country realizes it doesn't deserve for us NOT to win this time around...

"not black" isn't even a consideration.  that's just some shit that popped in your head.  and they're all rich so that won't be a consideration.  the fact that romney has flipped on numerous issues as the wind blows will be a problem.  so will the fact that he made his fortune by FIRING people rather than creating jobs will be another.  and the fact that he touted romneycare as a panacea for the nation will be a big hindrance if he's trying to go after the president who essentially instituted romney's plan.

based on what?  what are romney's policy solutions?  what's he going to do differently other than flash an "R" on his business card?  i'd like an answer.  you don't know romney's policy views;  no one does because he never states them.  i think you just like his chin and haircut.

You're a liar.  To your credit, you're not particularly good at it.

The most successful men I know will tell you that they are only successful because they are able to accept ‘no’ and not take it personally. Again, unsuccessful men take a ‘rejection’ as a personal assault on their inner child. Don’t make this mistake.

Smiley  No offense but the above might have a little more gravitas if I didn't know it was coming from someone who thought it was politically strategic to nominate Ron Paul... Smiley

Foodserver,

Obama is not the first black perons to try running for president. So then his being black was not a positve factor in him getting elected.  You seem to think that being black has advantages.  I'll tell you what white boy, go buy yoursefl enough tan in a can that  you won't wash it off when you take a shower and put enough on your body so you will look like a black man. Then go buy yourself an afro wig, and then live for about 6-8 monnths.

After that, you'll shut up with the white boy excuse for failure that its easy being black because we are given so much.
