The Web bids farewell to George W. Bush in a sarcastic or cynical sense.

The Web certainly does not bid farewell to Bush in the sense of wishing Bush well.

Countless parties on the Web are actually thrilled about Bush going away.

Sorry to say, anti-Bush activities (from Congressman Dennis Kucinich and others) did not succeed in driving Bush out of office.

Sorry to say, the American people had to wait all the way to January 20, 2009 for Bush to finally go away.
