It is sad to see people moving away from sound and very moral principles that have served as our moral rudder since the advent of western civilization.

Does anyone know, are the ancient cultures such as the Chinese and Indians ( country of India) having similar degradation of their morals?

I realize that I am far from perfect and that I cuss too much, but at least I am not a sexual pervert, I have an excellent credit rating from always paying up on time, and I don't believe in cheating others out of what is rightfully theirs.

I don't  buy religious bigotry, which explains more than anything my lack of faith in a divine being such as God, but  I do think that the principles of behavior laid down in the bible, particularly the OT, are valid and very necessary for a people to live in a civilized manner.  These fundamental tenets of behavior were tried and proven over centuries by the ancient Jews, and thankfully they had the foresight to write them down in a concise manner for us to benefit from.

And then along came the New Age idiots that prefer to make up the rules as needed to further their self centered agendas.

It's my understanding that the Holy See has proclaimed that "No Catholic Priest shall be caught and convicted of having sex with more than two minor children in their tenure as a Priest."  They call that "The Three Tykes And You're Out" proclamation.

As IF more than one shouldn't be enough to issue a Death Warrant.

Is the policy suggesting that offenders be given a second chance?  A loving church is a forgiving church as well as a purveyor of doctrine and discipline.

Yes, it is.  Worse, they are given that second chance, and they still aren't terminated.  It takes a third before they are removed.

And in many cases, "removed" means "transferred to a different diocese."
