This practice of putting other members names in the subject title perhaps is getting out of hand.    We had prohibited it at one point.    I would like you the Newsrake community to decide - should the practice be prohibited or continue to be allowed?     I will tally the votes by Friday and that will be the policy.

This is the least of worst practices here.  You have posters referring to others as pedophiles, Ivan talking about murdering homosexuals with glee, "rewiring" people, Tyler and his death prayer, etc.  A lot of people get upset because when i retaliate for these types of things, i do not play nice.  My model of retaliation is William Tecumseh Sherman.  And as long as we have the death prayers and the expressed desire to murder homosexuals there is going to be vicious and swift retaliation.

i personally think it is a little late for hand wringing.

Let's be clear Pepsi, it is this type of bullshit you need to deal with.  This is a post of Ivan's.

The day will come when bubba will line the freaks up against a wall and blow their their heads off, and their balls too seeing that their heads are usually in their crotches.

Why do you ask? What insight do you hope to gain here?

In response to one of Ivan's personalities' whining you correctly identified Ivan as a priority, were you to intervene.

Another poster here pointed me to another forum where garbage, like you tolerate here, simply does not exist. When I have the time I intend to join that forum and I may taper off here or just leave altogether. In other words if and when I am ready to rid myself of the idiots here, I already have a perfect remedy. Right now I am just having too much fun mocking Observer and trying to push it over the edge, and absolutely I would just love for it to post a "Coit is a ___________" thread.

In fact if this were not the cesspool that it is I might have no use for it at all.

I have a longstanding distaste for censorship of any kind in a venue where ideas are being exchanged. That’s a particularly difficult position to take for those of us who have to scroll through pages of posts where people (even PhD’s) are swapping insults like sixth graders, but if you want to have an honest discussion you have to put up with the crap in order to insure that everyone is able to speak his mind. It’s very annoying when someone gets “banned’ or has his words removed at the whim of a moderator because it looks like his opponent is getting an unfair advantage. If his opponent happens to be me, I don’t appreciate it. I’m perfectly capable of articulating my thoughts and bringing down anyone who doesn’t like it. Besides, when you let idiots talk like idiots the only consequence is that everyone figures out that they’re idiots. It happens here all the time. For my own part, the only thing I will not tolerate is my own words being removed or edited.

On the other hand, I always play by the rules of the administration. If the rules become too oppressive for my liking then I can always take my leave with no hard feelings.

I agree with most of what you say here, and absolutely you and I can leave. However I don't think every discussion board needs to be a free for all where idiots are freely allowed to be idiots and allowed to lower the level of every discussion board in existence to the level of this board.

That post is almost word for word the same thing you said the last time you found another forum to join and pollute. HOw long did you last at that one?

Go ahead and leave, Vel. That would take care of 50% of this forum's problems.

If this guy is who you think he is Observer, why wouldn’t he just come out and say so? As far as I know BaGua wasn’t sent off of here by force. Unless I’m mistaken, he left of his own volition. I have no reason to believe that he’s a “flyboy” type who comes strolling here wearing a cheap mask trying to pull one over on everyone.

Let it shoot it's mouth off. I think it's hilarious and I will do everything in my power to encourage it to do so, including researching this "Velleity's" posts and using them as my own.

And what could be better with an idiot like this? It's busy trashing this "Velleity" and it actually thinks it is trashing me?

Just laugh at it Mornac. It gives a lot here for your entertainment dollar.

He won't admit it because he is getting great joy from thinking he is playing all of you.

It is Velleity. There is absolutely no doubt of that. He even uses the same lame insults Velleity used, word for word. His little "I have found another forum speech" could have been copied from the same one he gave here on numerous occasions. He has actually referred to past statements he claims to have made which were actually made by Velleity. He thinks he is a lot smarter than he is, but he can't even keep his chronology straight.

All posters have signatures. Very few can hide them. Once they start posting regularly, the old patterns invariably emerge. Coit is Velleity.

The Jame Gumb routine doesn't make you look any smarter. It only makes you sound like the seriously disturbed homosexual serial killer you probably wish you could be.

Why would I be angry at you, Jame?

You're a nobody. If anyone should be angry at you, it should be Pepsi. He should be royally pissed at you for what you did to this forum before and what you are trying to do to it again.
