LRD is a reading comprehension deficiency exhibited in persons of the liberal persuasion. It usually manifests itself as a severe misapprehension of what is being said often to the degree of understanding the polar opposite of the idea presented. It is unclear at this point if LRD is a symptom or a cause of liberalism. Often, budding liberals who display features of LRD are treated to intense training to improve their reading skills resulting in their abandoning liberal ideas and going on to lead normal lives.

The amnesia is not going to be allwoed here. We lost millions of jobs during the bush years. The tax cuts wer suppsoed to create jobs due to the fact that those who got the cuts were going to create jobs with the money they got back in taxes. They did not do it, and so unemployment rose.

It is the number of new workers entering the economy.  How could you not know that?  The unemployment rate takes into account not only lost jobs but new workers entering the labor morket.  More new workers entering the market than jobs created means a rise in the unemployment rate.  Explained that directly to you before.
