I've read through a lot of threads, here on Newsrake and I have a question, Mornac...

Do you get all your information from a single source?

I haven't seen much else, on this particular subject.

I've read through a lot of threads, here on Newsrake and I have a question, Mornac...

--Go right ahead. I have the honorable reputation of being the only member who answers any and all questions (except those asked by the three people with whom I don't communicate).

--No. I gave up on the mainstream media long ago. These days I have an enormous amount of sources. If you look around some more, you'l find that I employ sources from all around the globe.

--Actually, truth is a big topic around here – and it’s one of my favorites. Here’s one of the lengthier threads concerning it. Feel free to jump in.

I can understand giving up on "mainstream media".  They seem to be filled with nothing but distractions while foreign news sources, as well as some sources less known, are covering the real stories.

I'll check out the link to the thread you provided.

BTW...Are you "for" or "against" the Catholic church?

Prediction: Mornac's answer will boil down to both.

That is his privilege Joan.  At least he shows some backbone and is not a liberal whore like you are that jumps on bandwagons just to get attention.

He may be a bit overbearing at times, but I think his reasoning is sound and on the side of prudence and morality. Or would you rather he be one of those flakes that let's it all hang out and makes up the rules as he needs them?

How does it boil down to both? I don't  see that in his answer, which  was as follows:

"100% for. That why I spend so much time here and elsewhere defending her against her enemies. – especially those who are trying to destroy her from within."

That is because you do not understand what he is writing.

Generally, I enjoy reading your posts, but it appears you jumped too soon on this one.

Mornac gave a very clear answer to the question...

How did you reach the conclusion he was both "for" AND "against"?

You missed the last part: "especially those who are trying to destroy her from within."

Mornac is what is referred to as a Traditionalist Catholic.  This is largely a self-identified group of Catholics making up much less than 1% of the Catholic Church.  Their assumption is that the vast majority of us, including at times the pope (depending on whether or not what he says agrees with their warped view of Catholicism), belong to the group of "those who are trying to destroy her from within".

Take for instance the largest group of self-identified Traditionalists, the Society of Saint Pius X.  One of its more popular members, the illicitly ordained bishop and convicted criminal, Richard WIlliamson refers to the pope as having heretical ideas, to use one example.  As i noted to Ivan, you have to understand what Mornac means by "especially those who are trying to destroy her from within" in order to understand his remarks.

I didn't miss anything.  The statement ""those who are trying to destroy her from within" means exactly that.
