Now larger than the sun and clearly visible....does anyone think Holmes is heading our way?

Comets have played some interesting tunes during the course of history. I am reading Barbara Tuchman's GUNS OF AUGUST, and even she mentions comets and their appearance around certain "major" events/ The book won the Pulitzer in 1963, and Barbara died in the late 80's, I think, so she is not writing about something happening around us now. All very fascinating...
