We're spending a heck of a lot more in Iraq still to this day than Libya.

Given the fact that we are basically borrowing the money we spend in Iraq, do you think it is wise and fiscally responsible to borrow and spend more in Libya. 

The downgrade in our credit rating tells me we have exceeded our ability to pay up.  Does that bother you?  Is borrowing more money going to restore the credit rating?

Like it or not, we make a committment in Iraq, and if we were to pull out without finishing the job the US would lose face in the eyes of our allies. Taking on another action in Libya is not my idea of building faith in our allies.  In fact, it makes us look like the planet bullies.

So how can you bitch about Iraq when you haven't learned a damned thing from it?
