Maybe if I ever write my memoirs I can talk about the weird coincidences with coca cola connections (corporate, etc), but at moment, I can say very truthfully, DO NOT DRINK THIS STUFF. As a child I was "addicted" to coke and almost suffered kidney failure as a result. To this day I cannot drink the stuff.

So, I will offer this advice. Soda in general is harmful. Diet soda is especially harmful...Avoid these.

I'm glad that I grew up drinking water.  Nothing better for you.  I over-indulge by drinking tea these days...and even tea can be bad for your kidneys.

My mother went through a serious bout with cancer and the doctors recommended....believe it or not....the soft drink called "Squirt".  So she drank a lot of it for awhile.
