I can't speak for anyone else, but I wouldn't imagine there being a finer Christmas present to a military person than having the opportunity of executing a local brown person we can arbitrarily label as a "terrorist."

And a Happy New Year as well.

--Ten days left Hawk boy. Good luck.
The question is , which Afghanistan.  Oh well, if there are 57 states then Iraq must be Afghanistan-1.  Not bad for a flunky.

W@ell, we are out of Iraq and Osama was killed. Progress has been made while you guys have been bitching about nothing being accomplished. The way I see it-as long as you guys are bitching,it's most likely because he's actually doing a good job. Whatever he's doing to piss you off-I'm all for.

Which holiday did he mean?  Obama makes a lot of squirrely statements, so what is new?

If the Iraqi idiots continue to bomb each other like they have in the past few days then we will probably be back in there soon.

Haven't we wasted enough blood on that sink hole?

At least Daddy Bush knew when it was time to leave after we kicked SH's ass in Gulf I. I am not blaming Obama for this last exercise in futility, but I do wish he would hurry the withdrawal from Afghanistan. What have we got to lose by leaving the poppy fields for the warlords to fight over. At least they wouldn't be fighting us.

What is needed is a squadron of C5s loaded with Roundup spray for the poppies. And then send in old buffie to give them an attitude adjustment as well as tilling their soil, all in one pass.

The big one lies ahead, Iran, and I think it will be the stupidest thing we have done so far to invade that country. Iran apparently has the backing of Russia and mahybe Red China, so we aren't messing with just a tin horn dictator if we hit on Iran.

I am betting that is the real reason for staying in the Gulf area, a possible hit on Iran.

Israel is itching to raid Iran.  Let 'em knock themselves out while we watch.
