Wrong. I studied economics and I have an undergraduate degree in it and I've kept up with it.

Unlike you, I actually understand the subject. I know that's a concept that you can't grasp, understanding the subject. But it's the way it is for me. I can actually make an argument. Again, something that's beyond your comprehension.

That doesn't mean you understand it.

You also have a law degree, but my new pup knows more about the Constitution than you do.

Obseerver,

What we have here is a catch 22. I respond to you because it IS the only way you can understand things, and you think you are responding to me in the only way I understand.

First off what the fuck do you know about the great depression? Its apparent that FDR did something right or this nation would have been crushed. Its apparent that the Hoover administration did something wrong, so did Smoot and Hawley who were republicans.

There is a reason FDR got 4 terms son.

Finally let me make it perfectly clear, that YOU will get civility when you are civil yourself. We are here now because of republican policies. If republicans enact these same policies CBO has scored that the deficit will increase by a far larger number.

Secondly today, at this very moment, the projections were for a 200 billion dollar surplus. For some odd reason we had a 1.2 trilion dollar deficit when Obama took his oath. Somewhere along the line between 2000 -2008 we lost 1.4 trillion dollars. Obama did not do this, Bush did. the democratic congress did not do this, Bush and the republicans did. This did not happen in the two years democrats regained control, it happened during the 13 years republicans had the majority.

What has happened here is that the conservative right wing white boy club has obstructed and worked against everything Obama has tried so they can regain power. Hopefuly the rest of the voting public is not as fucking stupid as you.

Observer thinks our grandparents and great grandparents were stupid.

Yes indeed, there is a reason why FDR won in 1936 in the most lopsided election in U.S. history: the country had been mired in the Great Republican Depression I for 4 years prior to FDR and things had improved after he was elected, like things have improved after Obama took office.

Observer is a denialist with respect to both realities.

Observer doesn't even understand what the term "depression" means, or how it differs from the term "recession", but that doesn't stop him from spouting off.

There are a lot of things Observer does not understand, but in a nation that says you have freedom of speech, unfortunately his ignorance must be tolerated.
