and what would it matter if no Muslims died on 911?   19 foreign hijackers we are going to disallow any Muslim from building a house of worship in a specific location?

It doesn't matter one bit to me pepsi. I mention this to those who sit sanctimoniously on their asses talking about how terrible it would be for this so called mosque to be built because of the losses of the 9-11 families. Seems to be forgotten that there were muslim familes who lost people in this tragedy.

Observer,

Why not answer the questions asked instead of positng up your usual unlearned bullshit?

I didn't bother to answer the questions because they are irrelevant to this issue and read like they written by an 8 year old. However, if it will make you happy, I 'll play your stupid game.

Quote
should Catholic churches be allowed to build new churches anywhere near elementary schools, considering how many pedophile priests there have been?

It is stupid to try to conflate pedophile priests with terrorists carrying out a coordinated attack under instructions from a centralized command system.

Quote
-if 2 blocks from the WTC site is unacceptable, how many blocks would be acceptable?  3?  4?  5?  10?

That is up to the people of New York.

Quote
-what area exactly defines the so called "hallowed ground' of the 911 WTC attacks?

I never said I considered it "hallowed ground". Arlington is hallowed ground. Gettysburg is hallowed ground. Thermopylae is hallowed ground. The site of 11 Sep 01 attacks is what it is... a big hole in the ground. It is also a reminder that we must never permit something similar to happen again.

Quote
-should we have banned German cultural institutions in the USA because of the Nazi's?

I haven't heard anyone calling for a ban Islamic cultural institutions in connection to this issue.

Have you? If you have, post them.

Quote
-shouljd we allow pow wows, or any other indian relgious ceremonies anywhere in the USA since they fought tooth and nail against "americans" for over 200 years?

This of course, is stupid... even for you.

Quote
-is there any legal or Constitutional basis to oppose this building's construction at all?

Constitutional basis... I don't believe there is. Of course, that isn't the argument being put forth by those opposed to Park 51. Asking that question is just a feeble attempt to distort the issue.

Opposition to the construction also does not bring up any Constitutional issues.

Quote
-didn't Muslims besides those flying the planes die on what is now ground zero?

Is that somehow relevant?

I didn't create all the questions son, and  you conservatives always demand that people answer your questions, so perhaps its time for you to answer those posed to you.

What's stupid is discounting the lifelong damage pedophiles cause, like you just did.

It could end up being a supreme court issue.

None of those places are hollowed grounds. They are places where thousands of people died unnecessarily in stupid acts of war. We can't stop something like 9-11 from happening again. Not in the way you want to stop it. The way it can be stopped is considered weakness by dumbfucks like you.  So if it happens, it happens.

I did not ask this one, so why don't you tell Pepsi that. If you can use bigotry to close a community center, then you can use that same hate, fear, and ignorance to ban a religion.

Fuck you dumb ass. Because if this can be done to Muslims, it can be done to anyone else. But since you are a sellout what would you care?

You don't know shit about the constitution Observer. Its been shown time after time. So your commentary about it falls upon deaf ears. This is a constitutional issue because the opposition to buiilding this is based upon the religion of those building it. Opposing it based upon NYC zoning regulations would be fine, except it met the zoning codes and these guys are opposing the building of this center only because its supposed to be a muslim facility.

Quote

If you cannot see how relevant this is, then you are brainless. The fact that muslims died on 9-11 just like everyone else gives them the right to have the ability to build whatever they want at or near ground zero.

Now, it should be apparent to everyone why you are held in such low regard.

Wrong. I'm afraid you have your own ass, and I am not it. In fact you are the only human being whose ass is on his shoulders.
