elena kagan confirmed.

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2010/0805/Elena-Kagan-confirmed-to-Supreme-Court

maybe now we'll be rewarded by multiple long posts telling how this really bodes well for the the "conservative" agenda.  you know,  boffo's permanent republican majority speech all over again.

peace

Boffo was into the "permanent Republican majority" meme?

Observer spewed that nonsense too, and both of them keep proclaiming that Keynesian economics is discredited. Seems they're getting their talking points from the same place.

BTW, Keynesian economics was never dead, any more than the "supply-side economics" and tax mythology was ever alive. Both prospects were never more than wishful "conservative" memes.

Observer,

There needs to be more liberals on this court. The conservative court has already fucked up our political system by allowing corporations to buy elections. On top of that, one of the courts members has a wife who is founder of a political orgainzation that can nowget corporations  purchase all the ads she wants, and that is conflict of interest. Don't see no investigation of Clarence Thomas. And if this was to happen, sudenly all of you right wing wackos would be proclaiming that racism is suddenly now alive, when for years you were declaring how it does not occur anymnore.

Conservatives don't have any room to be speaking. In fact given that everything they have proposed has fucked up our country, perhaps they really should shut the fuck up.
