That certainly makes for a favorable first impression.

It's hardly a first impression. They grief and swarmed me at DU and managed to get me banned. They needed to do that because I had their number and I was messing with their heads.

Given your impression of the radical left (which is what they are) I would think you would approve. However I saw you sidle up to Holly, so I know how you can make allowances and be "flexible" when it suits you.

you're the perpetual victim huh?

I think you confuse issues people have with church doctrine, positions and so on with people not liking catholic people simply because they are catholic.

That may be but I think we need to take it on a case by case basis. I do that with "anti-Semitic" posts versus anti-Israel posts. Really and truly I don't jump to the anti-Semitic conclusion without, at least in my own mind, good cause.

For example, John and JC--I have never even thought of them as being anti-Semitic. Moreover, even though our positions on certain events is contentious I don't think we have had a disagreement over what is and what isn't anti-Semitic.

I think we can distinguish between people who have issues with church doctrine and anti-Catholic posts. Let him be heard if he has an issue.

Vel, you are a part of the radical left. It is good to know they eat their own.

You have never seen me "sidle up" to Holly, and you know it. Spewing such nonsense just for the sake of trying to get in a cheap shot is both dishonest and petty.

I know who and what I am, Observer, and you're opinion on me still doesn't mean shit.

What's going on isn't "eat their own". These people at OET are PUMAs, and (I hate to say it, but it's true) disaffected homosexuals. They aren't "eating their own". They are sowing their seeds of disaffection only they're louder and they've learned to game DU with their "grief and swarm" strategy.

What they've actually done is chase away the more gentle liberals at DU by being even more aggressive and obnoxious than you are. In the scheme of things their numbers aren't all that impressive although, you might be happy to know, they do have some potential to scuttle Democrats.

Of course if they do that does nothing to help you "conservatives" deal with the consequences of your own stupid, dysfunctional ideology.

You're lying when you say you didn't sidle up to Holly. I saw you do it. Yeah, you said she "got there by a different route than you did" but sidling up to is sidling up to, and you did it buddy boy. Denial will get you nowhere.

Relativism.

It is okay to hate some people, but not okay to hate others.

Got it.

There have been some really vile things posted about Catholics on this forum and no one has blinked an eye. Looking at some of JC's rants are enough to make me wonder how any decent human being, particularly someone with the authority and responsibility for stopping the spread of such foaming at the mouth hatred, could let it go on without so much as a "Down, Boy".

Have you guys got a list of who we are allowed to hate and who we aren't?

You turned a blind eye to Holly's blatant anti-Semitism. Again, don't bother trying to deny it. I saw you do it.

BTW, this is the very first time I have seen a complaint about "anti-Catholicism". It's not the first time I have seen Observer desperately glomming onto an issue like this.

If you are going to make an accusation like that, have the balls to post the actual conversation. I have no idea what you are talking about.

Provide a link. Put it up for all to see.

Your "word" means nothing.

Catholics handling of child sex abuse was poor at best, crimminal at worst..

However I don't see any denouncements of people of the Muslim faith for their murderous behavior

You are a liar.

You have done and said some pretty scummy things over the years, but this is something I would expect from your little dog, John Boy, not you.

Post your evidence.
