i know you are afraid to come here, but i just wanted to drop a note of thanks.

i am glad to see that you never tire of throwing your fellow right wingers under the bus.  i wondered how long it was going to take you to, once more, prove my point.

Thank you, once again, for demonstrating that i was correct.  You see, i was not arguing against spelling conventions; and Probablyneverserved was not arguing for spelling conventions.  i merely stated that judgement was not a misspelling as Probablyneverserved had stated.  In fact, when Probablyneverserved originally made the claim, another rightie corrected him in the same manner you are correcting him.  Too bad you were, as usual, unfamiliar with the actual argument.

Here is the issue: Probablyneverserved claims that variant spellings are incorrect or misspellings.  My point, that historically judgement was the first spelling (American English, as you may be away, began to seriously diverge in spelling after Webster) was clearly demonstrated by the OED.  Your claim, that it is British usage, backs up my claim.

With regard to style, that is not the issue at all, but thank you for playing.

i do appreciate the fact that Buscuit takes aim at me, fires and always manages to bust a cap in his fellow right winger's ass.  Rpkem just bases his posts on the most available logical fallacy, best guess or email he has gotten.

Poor ole Malone.  Still trying to be relevant.  Did you pass on that message to Robert about A## and her concerns about the amount and type of pornography he is downloading?

Poor ole Robert.  You just hate to read about yourself over here.  Makes you particularly amusing to read.

Speaking of fear... John Boy's invitation to post at NoPC still stands.

Everyone is very much aware that he won't post where Daddy Vel isn't around to hold his hand, but of course, Vel still has posting privileges there, as well. If he needs Vel to help him cross the street, there is nothing stopping both of them from popping in. That is... nothing but fear.

There's also something called "good sense", but you would know nothing about that.

I suppose that from John's viewpoint, it is "good sense" to not go where he isn't protected by you.

In this part of the country, we call that "fear"... when we are being polite.

In this part of the country we call your whining "whining".

It's an internet b.s. board. You can claim that someone needs protection from you but you can't make that claim true. In the words of the late, great Frank Zappa, it's words. That's all, words.

Vel, you protected John Boy from punitive action for violating forum rules. You know you did. You just lack the integrity to admit it.

He stays here and refuses to venture to places where you can't protect him because he knows he would be eaten alive. Here, he can be as vile and loathsome as he wishes and you will respond to complaints about it... "He's not so bad. I'll talk to him about it when we have lunch" or some such bullshit. He is your boy, and as such, he is "privileged".

Now that I don't have to Moderate this board, I don't really care about his protected status. Your lack of honesty on this issue does however, bother me a bit.

Sorry i only post on level playing fields.  Your shitty behavior as a moderator is not exactly a welcome invitation to someone who wished to actually post.
