At what point will Obama start taking responsibility?

Bush is no longer president, thank God.

Responsibility for what? Responsibility for "conservative" talking points?

Maybe if "conservatives" stop obstructing and disinforming and begin engaging in a constructive way, maybe then there is a reason of some sort.

As things stand we're not in a recession or a depression only because of those government actions taken--the ones " conservative" talking points claim to have not worked.

The real question is why people put up with obstruction and disinformation. If Republicans can they will take you right back to the point Bush left you at, and worse.

You wonder why I think you're stupid. Your apparent failure to understand this fact is one big reason.

Never-not once did Bush take responsibility for something that happened on his watch, which was 9/11. And he also did a piss poor job with Katrina as well. Instead repukes blamed Clinton for not catching Bin Ladin. Hell, Bush never caught him either.  President Obama clearly inherited this shit storm of a national condition from Bush-it was set in place before Obama ever took oath, so this whole take responsibility thing is utter bullshit. However, he has been playing janitor in chief for the monumental fuckups of the Bush administration.

You forgot that stupid "conservative" economic policies drove us to the brink of the Great Republican Depression II. Their deregulation set the table for massive bank failures, and their tax cuts for the rich and anti-Union legislation and enforcement have gutted the middle class, also setting the table for massive bank failures.

There is no Obama recession to update. This recession is Bush made.

Hussein is the president.

He should take responsibility for anything that happens on his watch.

Can anyone deny this without calling Hussein a liar?

A simple yes or no will do.

Let's see what happened.

One Hussein backer starts cursing.

One Hussein backer plays the race card.

Does anyone think the president should take responsibility for what happens on his watch?

A simple yes or no sill suffice.

Can we take this statement to mean that BUSH and all of his supporters have to now agree that 9/11 happened on HIS(Bush's) watch, and the economic crash, and the ensuing wars, and the poor handling of Katrina? Or are you going to cherry pick your way out of this?

Yes.

Everything that happened while Bush was president happened on his watch.

There is nothing to cherry-pick.

Thanks for your answer. That being the case, 90% of your contempt should be for the Bush administration because damn near everything we are experiencing right this minute is a result of what took place during the Bush administration. The only "contemptible" thing you would have a right to whine about would be the passage of health care reform if you disagree with it. Everything else Obama has done has pretty much been to either repair a Bush fuckup or help continue anything Bush did in an attempt to fix things(Tarp/stimulus). Otherwise, the only thing he has done "on his watch" is be a black man as President, and racist fuckwads-those who qualify- need to get over that.

You will get no simple yes or no to this dumb ass question old man.

The things we face now were not caused by Obama. So then he doesn't have to take responsibility for them. secondly Your boy Bush was blaming Bill Clinton for shit damn near until the last dayof his second term. Did not see you asking anyone about resposnsibility then. So then don't try this double standard shit now.

I only started asking about responsibility after Mr. Obama said this about the bonuses given to the AIG executives after AIG got money from the bailout.

"THIS IS AN OUTRAGE, I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY.  I AM THE PRESIDENT."

These are Obama's words, not mine.  After Obama said that, AIG employees started giving the money back.

You see, young man, Obama actually did take responsibility.  In fact, Obama has taken responsibility for many things.  Instead of backing Obama, you choose to continue blaming Bush for everything.

For some reason, you think Mr. Obama is wrong and that he should blame it on Bush.

If you didn't see me coming down hard on Bush, you had to be living in a vacuum.

Again, you calim that OBma should take repsonsiltuiy for whathashappeendon his watch. well whathashhappeed onhis watch was due to consditons caused befoere he took watch. yet he getsbalmed for theoutcome of those conditiosn set befor ehe gothere by peopel like you. So then I sayhebearsno repsnsibituy for htis becaus ehe did nto create the conditions. Prety plain and simple MSP.

I back Obama, I am nothte one asking him to take repsnislty for htingshe did not create. And I'm glad you consider
