Regards, bud....This is your Church. Your great religion, the one truth, the one true religion that you continue to gleefully defend on a daily basis. This is sooooo cool! Aren't Catholics and Catholicism great? Doesn't this just make you warm all over? And what does your wife and daughter think when you defend this religion, this Church? You'd really do best to sit down with THIS video w/ your family and have a healthy discussion and try to continue defending your belief in this "one true religion" and all the good it does. Watch and enjoy-because this is what your church and religion are all about and you also if you continue to excuse it or make excuses, or defend, or deflect, or minimize......

JC

Let's not forget that back in 2003 and before it was left wing Catholics who were outing this guy and calling for the dissolution of his group.  Of course right wing American Catholics, such as the pile of crap William Donohue, whose missives Mornac often posts.  In 1997 when this waste of skin was outed as a pedophile by the Hartford Courant , it was Donohue who wrote a letter defending him in to the paper.  Let me repeat, that was in 1997.

Remember when right wing Catholics, including mornac, were venting spleen over Obama visiting Notre Dame?  Harvard law professor Mary Ann Glendon, and right wing Catholic, refused an award from Notre Dame because they invited Obama to give its commencement.  Of course, she to was a vociferous defender of the founder of the Legionaries.

They have all since backed away, but they were early and vociferous defenders.  Why?  Not out of respect for truth or facts or decency, but because he and his group was in line with their cultural politics.

For my money, the memory of someone like Ignacio Ellecuria is worth more than a billion Mornacs and his shifting alliances.  For me, as a Catholic, the church is not lace and Latin or smoke and chant, it is the witness to the broken God of the Cross that is manifest in the concrete work of love and devotion to the crucified humanity who are his icon (the poor, the oppressed, etc).

Noticeably silent is Mr. "we finally have a pope who cares". I'm not surprised at all.

He does not seem to care.
