Sarah Palin Rakes In $12 Million-Plus Since Quitting Governorship

Sarah Palin has reportedly raked in more than $12 million since resigning as governor of Alaska in July 2009, according to ABC News.

Over the past year, Palin's large paychecks have come under scrutiny by the media as well as by members of the Republican Party.

The ex-Alaska governor collected a $1.25 million paycheck for her memoir Going Rogue: An American Life, boasts an astounding $100,000 speaking fee, and will reap $1 million for each episode she shoots of her upcoming reality television show, Sarah Palin's Alaska.

ABC News reports that Palin's $12 million cash haul translates into an income of "at least 100 times her old salary." (Palin's salary as governor of Alaska was $125,000.)

It wasn't just the money....between the intellectual incompetence, inability to perform the duties of the job or handle the pressure, the onslaught of incoming corruption charges, and just being a quitter in general, this foxy lying little whorebath of folksy relativism and factual ineptitude......ah, never mind, it was mostly the money.....

How many politicians quite halfway through their term to host TV shows, publish a book about themselves and go on paid speaking tours?

Many have had the same chances Palin had Lucy and didn't take them until they finished the job.

She's already made one of the most intelligent statements of her political life - written by an advisor, no doubt - to the effect that Mitt should not be given a pass on the whole Bain Capital business - that the truth about his conduct, and the veracity of his "100,000 jobs" claims, be brought out now, before the Party does something stupid, like hand him the nomination.
