In 1986 or so as a tourist at the capital I strayed near somewhere I should not have been and had armed guard approach me pretty instantly.     I have to admit having broken the rules on the capital grounds of the United States of America set me back, was I proud of the fact or deeply ashamed?    Somewhere in the middle..
