My guess was 'no,' but since neither of us bothered to click the link then who really knows what the fuck Mornac is trying to pass off as "objective truth" here?

You did not click the link, but you want to answer the question Mornac raised?

notoc, you are dumber than a box of crushed rock.

Exactly like the democrats insisting on impeachment of Trumps phone conversation, without seeing the transcripts.

And like Nancy Pelousy telling Americans "It's going to be very, very exciting," Pelosi gaffed, telling the local elected officials assembled that Congress "[has] to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it, away from the fog of controversy."

Err, no. I did not click the link because, like the rest of us, you included, I don't give a fuck about "the question Mornac raised."

Anyway, why are you even in this thread if you're not prepared to answer "the question Mornac raised?"

Yes
--You'd be correct if I was referring to His Holiness Benedict XVI, however, I was speaking about Anti-pope Bergoglio who is not now, nor ever has been Pope and whose penchant for spouting heresy betrays the fact that he is not Catholic.

My take is anyone can be Catholic all you need to do is get baptized and generally follow the rituals.   There's no deciding authority who decides who is or who isn't a Catholic.

I never click your links, Mornac. Nobody ever clicks your links. I guessed 'no' was the 'answer' you were looking for...once upon a time I would have search for a quote or two of you claiming 'once a catholic always a catholic' but then you would have just spent 10 pages talking about how you have never used contraception while you were a catholic...and then I'd repost your 'once a catholic...' quote and you'd respond by splitting up my post into individual syllables and responding to each with nonsensical questions about the weather.  :-*

From watching the video, as I actually did, the Pope is not a Catholic.

He seems to represent Jewish beliefs.
All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

--More like follow the teachings, which would make him a faithful Catholic. A baptized Catholic can also become a dissident Catholic (as johnhp was), a lapsed Catholic (in your case), an apostate (like JC), or a heretic (like Jorge Bergoglio).

Quote
There's no deciding authority who decides who is or who isn't a Catholic.
--Wrong. There is divine authority - and you can't get any higher authority than that:

"And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

"And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven."

"Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained."
