not at all true.  I'd prefer to have all sides equally represented.   that makes for the best conversation, in my opinion.   None of us would have much to talk about if we all agreed about everything.     We on the mod team are all on the same page with this.    That doesn't mean vel or anyone else who is a moderator has to treat any poster with kid gloves though.

I'm not going to do that. I have told you, honestly and directly, that I consider you to be dishonest and unintelligent. More directly I think you're stupid. I can and have made good arguments to support both conclusions.

Half of the population, theoretically, has to have an IQ below 100. That doesn't make you a bad guy. It is a darned shame when long time Republicans like me have to vote for the lesser of two evils, which I did in the last presidential election.  McCain is a war hawk and is trying to revive his claim to fame by making more war in the ME.  I think that Bush has done enough damage for one generation of idiots in the WH.

I voted for Obama, not because I support his socialistic ideology, but because he stood to be less aggressive on the foreign policy front, and so far my choice has been justified in that respect.  Had we elected McSame we would probably have our backs to the wall in Iran right now and would be in Yemen and in Somalia spinning our wheels and wasting precious lives and resources.  And Netanyahu would be estatic while we do is bleeding for him and shouting "Atta boy GI, go get 'em." What do you think the last Iraqi invasion was all about if it wasn't a freebee to the Israealis?  The vaunted IDF got shown the door in southern Lebanon so for an encore they decided to roll over innocent kids in Gaza.  Real fighters those IDF people.
