Racism on this board is getting way out of hand....

The racism prevalent on this board is really starting to get out of hand. As a middle aged adult white male I don’t feel I am the target of any of it but I am appalled by it and astonished that at every turn, nearly every thread degrades into racial epithets being hurled. If you cannot make a point or case for your side of an argument without the need to turn it into a racial thing – please go find a board of like minded folks where you can all enjoy each others company. The whole reverse racism excuse being tossed around is feeble. I side w/ IM on this. I don’t like to see his anger, but I completely understand it. Someone else also said (and I agree) that you can’t expect a demographic of people, after 300 years of oppression and slavery just be hunky dory w/ everything now a days, especially since there is still a great deal of not only underlying hatred, but also clearly noticeable fomented racial hate going on. It’s not fair to those of us who come here for intelligent discussion to have to be subjected daily to the same people (Ivan, NRA) hurling their hateful crap.

  This is not a “whites only” board, and America is not a “whites only” nation and you white supremacist bastards need to get over this fact or move on. There are forums and boards that you will find a nice home on if you aren’t there already-I suspect you may be. Not to mention the fact that bigoted racist white jerks like you give those of us white folks who are not racists a bad name. There are some of us who strive to get along with everyone, and who are trying as best as we can to let others victimized by your hatred know that bastards like you do NOT speak for all white people.

 This racism and hatred on this board is not exclusive to targeting black people either, which speaks to having a general hatred and bitterness problem. This is YOUR problem racists(you know who you are!) Don’t make it the rest of our problem…Just move on….

How about a show of hands…..are there any non racists here that want to step up and defend the hateful racists? Freedom of speech is one thing, but what does it serve if it is only a vehicle for hatred. We are bridging no gaps and serving no useful purpose when everything turns into a race fight around here. It’s just downright ugly in here anymore…..

If you are so thin skinned then stay away from here.  I don't look for trouble and I sure am not going to put up with the abuses of IM2. There are other blacks that post here and they try to get along with us whites, but not IM2. Look around and you will find that he purposely stirs up trouble where ever he goes. 

I cannot help what my ancestors did to his ancestors but rubbing it in my face isn't going to endear me to his hateful point of view.  I have black friends and we get along fine.  Why?  We don't push the race issue.

You must be young and from the idealistic politically correct camp.  When one of those retards starts pushing you and your family around in broad daylight in the streets then maybe you will wake up to reality. It is not their skin color that is the issue but their unruly behavior.

To your way of thinking this should be a black only board, is that it? In other words we whites get to pay the fiddler but we don't get invited to the dance.

You are a newbie here and yet in a few visits you start dissing certain whites and setting policy?  I have been on this forum a long time and we had very little in the way of racial strife until IM2 came along.  He is a racist activist and you are too dense to see that.  Pandering to him isn't going to resolve the issue so shut the hell up and look at things for what they really are for a change.

You CAN help by not continuing the cycle of hate-If you can learn to not be hateful. These are your problems and you don't have to make them everyone elses on a daily basis...

I have no control or say so on these boards other than my opinion. I am only one person with an opinion. My opinion is that if the powers that be allow this crap to continue, then they support the footprint that has been and continues to be established. That will be their decision ultimately, but I think they need to re-examine that standpoint and ask themselves if they are comfortable with how it portrays their forum.

It would be completely different if I had happened upon a KKK or Stormfront or other racial site and posted what I'm thinking, but this is not a whites only(or blacks only, or "name your ethnicity" - only) site.....or have I missed something here?  Don't try to act as if your brand of hatred and racism is acceptable or ok, because you've been here for a while.... You need to start keeping score buddy before you start running your mouth.  Look at the threads where IM2 comes off with his ugly racist talk.  He can turn most any topic into a racist battle, and you think that NRA and I are the villians.  You need to grow up and take off your blinders.

I am a human being with emotions and pride.  So that makes me a racist asshole.  How would you like to have

The forum owner lets this go on for a good reason.  He and I and a few others were shoved around on another forum because our points of view did not coincide with that of the mods so he started newsrake.  At times it does get out of hand but he would be a hypocrit if he clamped down on the whites and let the blacks run wild over everyone. 

You speak of fairness but do you really know what that means?  I tell you what.  The next time IM2 gets on a racist kick why don't you kiss his ass so he will leave the rest of us alone.  I don't know of anyone who wants anything to do with him so your endearing favor might be just what he is needing and wanting. 

I know enough about people, particularly southern people, to know that damned few of them are not prejudiced in some manner.  Those that don't express themselves on this forum are either too timid to speak up or don't want to make waves.  So it is nearly universal amongst whites, Mexicans, and the southeastern Asians in America to have bad feelings about the behavior of the blacks. So if I am a racist I have a hell of a lot more company that you do.

Figure it out bright boy. Why are the Orientals generally accepted, and the Mexican Americans, where the blacks are not?  Who was in the Watts riots and in most other riots that tore hell out of the very infrastructure those idiots depended on for their daily needs?  It sure as hell wasn't whites or Mexicans or Orientals.

He has the power to stop it with a few keystrokes but he shows restraint by not doing it.  I'll give him credit for that.

Malone manages to keep racism to a bare minimum on his board.  That's one of the reasons I go there.
