Would be great for strategic position and resources.

President Trump made his name as a real-estate man, and now he is reportedly contemplating the biggest purchase of his life: buying Greenland.

The Wall Street Journal reports, “In meetings, at dinners and in passing conversations, Mr. Trump has asked advisers whether the U.S. can acquire Greenland, listened with interest when they discuss its abundant resources and geopolitical importance, and, according to two of the people, has asked his White House counsel to look into the idea.”

Denmark owns Greenland, although Greenland is self-ruled, At over 836,000 square miles, Greenland is the world’s largest island (Australia and Antarctica are considered landmasses.) Despite its enormous size, only 56,000 people live in Greenland; that’s because three-quarters of Greenland is covered by a permanent ice sheet.

Greenland came under the Norwegian crown in 1262; the Portuguese briefly claimed it at the start of the 16th century. In the early 1700’s, Denmark and Norway, which were joined under one crown, owned the island, but in 1814 when the union was dissolved, Denmark took control. In 1979, Denmark granted Greenland home rule. Denmark now handles Greenland’s foreign and security policy.

He certainly has made his name as a real-estate man.

The first thing to note about Trump’s argument is that, despite his parting jibe, he didn’t challenge any of the specific figures in the Times story. They show that, between 1985 and 1989, a period when the economy was forging ahead and Trump was busy portraying himself as a billionaire with the Midas touch, his core businesses—apartment buildings, hotels, and casinos—somehow managed to lose $359.1 million. That was only the beginning. As the economy weakened, in 1990 and 1991, Trump’s core businesses racked up losses of $517.5 million. And, between 1992 and 1994, as the economy recovered, they lost another $286.9 million.

Lol

That's it?  That's your answer?  I'm still wondering what that verse is that saves jets from crashing into the sea, btw.

She boasts Trump made a name for himself in real estate. It is a shameful record and her admiration is misdirected as I have shown. Where does she see a real estate wizard? There isn't one.  This is really too easy. Just Lol and Fake Doug, and boldfaced repetitions. Not debating team material at all.

Still no specific question.

Greenland told Trump: "We are not for sale, thank you".
All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

so what god was he praying to?  and what verse?

God is Great heh?  Did it come out sounding like Allahu Akbar cause the article in the NEW YORK TIMES really didn't specify that!   just asking you know..... i'm sure it doesn't mean A THING!

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

YOU were the one who brought up verse, not me.  Then why did you ask what verse the doomed pilot was praying to before his jet with 100+ passengers crashed into the sea?  And why did you LOL at that tragedy? I didn't find anything funny and I doubt anyone else here did, either. Your sense of humor needs work, not to mention your memory issues.

Has cancer been cured, or not? Which one of you is wrong?

Via Newsweek

During Thursday night's rally in Cincinnati, President Donald Trump elicited a rapturous response from his supporters by claiming the U.S. is about to cure childhood cancer and end the AIDS epidemic.
"We will be ending the AIDS epidemic shortly in America, and curing childhood cancer very shortly."

There is already a cure for cancer. However, big pharma, who basically owns Congress, can’t make big bucks off of it. So, they keep bribing Congress to vote against legalizing it.

you latch onto the most obscure stuff.   I'm sure what I said you've taken out of context and interpreted it in a way that suits you.    My sympathy goes to anyone that is taken out by crazed muslims intent on their own martyrdom and their 72 Virginians.

I understand your problem even if you don't.   Liberals are the most obtuse, unhappy, sour dispositioned persons in the universe.   You show us that every time you post.    Even down to your stolen name.    ;)

There you go again, bringing up verse. It was an Indonesian flight, not Philippine. Why do you bring up verse if verse doesn't matter? Nothing is out of context. Your quote is verbatim.  What is funny about the tragedy that prompted you to LOL?

Which verse could have saved these 7 ex marines on a charity mission who were killed by an incompetent truck dirver?

Updated at 7:28 p.m. ET

A pickup truck in rural New Hampshire struck and killed seven people and injured three on motorcycles Friday night. The crash ignited a small fire in a nearby wooded area and left a wreckage of damaged vehicles and the bodies of victims strewn across the highway.

State police said a Dodge pickup truck with an attached flatbed trailer large enough to haul a car was traveling westbound when it plowed into the motorcycles, which were moving eastbound, around 6:30 p.m. Friday, along U.S. 2 in Randolph.

Authorities are still investigating what caused the deadly collision. Some witnesses reported seeing the truck swerving just before it struck the bikers.

The names of the victims have not been released, but police identified the driver as Volodoymyr Zhukovskyy, 23, of West Springfield, Mass., who survived and has not been charged. A number could not be found for Zhukovskyy in public records.

Police said three other motorcyclists were injured, one of whom was airlifted to a local hospital after the crash.

Some of the riders were members of the Jarheads Motorcycle Club, which comprises active and veteran Marines. They were on their way to a bike gathering in northern New Hampshire, said Charlie St. Clair, executive director of the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association, a large motorcycle gathering that ended last weekend.

"I can't emphasize enough how horrific this is," St. Clair told NPR. "It's our worst nightmare."

The group was on a charity ride connected to an American Legion in Gorham, N.H., according to an online fundraiser set up for the families of the victims.

"Jarheads MC has always been about helping veterans and their families and sadly, today we are in need of that same support," wrote Doug Hayward, a member of the Jarheads Motorcycle Club.

why do  you think God did this.   We set our own plans and lives in motion.  I don't know that those marines needed saving.   IF they are Christians they are with their savior.  Can't be any better than that.   They laid down their lives for their fellow man and in so doing they died.  THey had crowns waiting for them in heaven.
